Lessons from Olajumoke Orisaguna

Olajumoke Orisaguna woke up early from the mattress she shared with her 2 year old son. She bathed him and gave him bread to eat and then she got ready for work. She had to be at the Agege bread bakery early so she could get the freshest bread. She was hungry so she had bread and butter too.

"E kaaro, good morning" greetings filled the air as Jumoke stepped out of the one bedroom, face me I face you apartment to greet her neighbors. She dropped her son for one of her neighbors and promised not to stay too long.

At the bakery, she got her bread and began to hawk " buy your Agege bread, buy fine butter bread". Sales were quite slow on that day and she was tempted to go back home and rest but something told her to keep trying.

She was deep in thought when someone said "leave the road, we are working here" she apologized but the first picture had been taken and when TY Bello looked into her camera later in the day, she didn't see a bread seller, she saw a world class model with bread balanced gracefully on her head.

TY Bello realized she had found a star and the search began for Jumoke, nobody knew her phone number or address but her picture was put on Facebook. It was the day after that someone recognized her and took her to TY Bello, her life has become a reference point in just a month. Olajumoke has been featured on CNN and every top media platform; her life turned around in a way she could never dream of.

What is the biggest lesson for me from the life of Olajumoke Orisaguna? Keep doing what you enjoy doing, God can bless you! There is something God has put in you that the world wants and there are people God has assigned to bless you and they will not rest till they find you and change your life in Jesus name.
