Fear God And Keep His Commandments!

King Solomon lived an amazing life, he had it all and he saw it all; he had the love of God and the love of men, till date, he is still the icon of wealth, he married 700 wives and had 300 concubines, there was nothing he desired that he did not get.

Yet at the end of his life, King Solomon had one thing to say "  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man" Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)

If you bought a new TV, it would come with a manual that would explain to you in detail how the TV works, it would tell you not to dip it in water, it would tell you not to hit the screen with a hard object and so many other instructions.

You see those instructions were written so that you would enjoy the TV not because the manufacturer simply enjoys writing, the manufacturer is satisfied when you enjoy his product that's why he wrote that manual.

It is the same way with God, God's manual is the bible and He gave you that book because He wants you to enjoy life to the full, God's commandments are not because God is a control freak but because He wants you to live the best quality of life possible.

Read that bible, meditate on those words, they will save you years of pain and they will bring you joy like you have never imagined. This is wisdom and it is the secret of champions. Thank you for reading.
