Just before Dreams Come True

1 Samuel 17:28-30  (NLT)But when David's oldest brother, Eliab, heard David talking to the men, he was angry. "What are you doing around here anyway?" he demanded. "What about those few sheep you're supposed to be taking care of? I know about your pride and deceit. You just want to see the battle!"
What have I done now?” David replied. “I was only asking a question!” 30He walked over to some others and asked them the same thing and received the same answer.

Whenever a breakthrough is near, the devil will try his best to talk you down and let you see you what you are going through rather than how God sees you. 


The devil will use those close to you; your friends and associates to try and diminish your faith. Be sensitive and move away from those kind of people, only stay around people you can discuss the future God is planning for you, never linger in the presence of those who talk you down, they are blind and ignorant people and they don't know much. If you look at their lives you will notice that in the long run they never do well. 

A few verses later, David was the champion of Israel and levels had changed, a shepherd boy had become a celebrated warrior, his elder brother who just a few hours ago was insulting him would now have no choice than to talk with respect.

Believe the solutions God has placed inside you, don't let their harsh and degrading words get to you, you are a bomb waiting to explode, you are star about to shine, don't be discouraged, let your dreams put a smile on your face, with God dreams come true.

Dwelling in the Secret Place






Psalm 91:1 (NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I want you to take note of the word 'dwell', it means 'to remain for a time', I like the other meaning which says 'to live as a resident'. Those who live as a resident in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Have you ever walked under the hot sun and suddenly you find a big tree with branches that shade you from the sun? Did you notice that although the sun was blazing and the heat was killing but under the shade of that tree, the air was cool?
That's what it means to abide under the shadow of the Almighty, it doesn't matter what is happening around you, your life runs smoothly, you don't lack, you don't fall sick, you can't identify with many challenges people are facing. It is because God has built a wall around you with His shadow, it is the reason nothing can touch you without God's approval.
How do you dwell in the secret place of the Most High?
1. Prayer: prayer is not what you say every morning and night, it is constant conversation with God.
2. Meditate on the word: think of God's commandments and promises and apply it to present day reality.
3. Godly music : create an atmosphere anywhere you are by playing worship songs, you don't have to increase the volume, let it play in the background at home or in the office.
3. Keep your thoughts pure: the bible says in Phillipians 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
Your actions are an extension of your thoughts. May we all receive grace to constantly live as residents in God's presence. Amen.

Let God Defend You






Numbers 12: 1-9 (NLT) While they were at Hazeroth, Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because he had married a Cushite woman. 2They said, “Has the LORD spoken only through Moses? Hasn’t he spoken through us, too?” But the LORD heard them. 3(Now Moses was very humble—more humble than any other person on earth.)
4 So immediately the LORD called to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam and said, “Go out to the Tabernacle,a all three of you!” So the three of them went to the Tabernacle. 5Then the LORD descended in the pillar of cloud and stood at the entrance of the Tabernacle.b “Aaron and Miriam!” he called, and they stepped forward.6 And the LORD said to them, “Now listen to what I say:
“If there were prophets among you,I, the LORD, would reveal myself in visions.I would speak to them in dreams.
7But not with my servant Moses.Of all my house, he is the one I trust.
8I speak to him face to face,clearly, and not in riddles!
He sees the LORD as he is.So why were you not afraid to criticize my servant Moses?”

9The LORD was very angry with them, and he departed. 10As the cloud moved from above the Tabernacle, there stood Miriam, her skin as white as snow from leprosy.

Moses was described as the most humble man on the earth. God knew that if he heard what his brother and sister were saying about him and his wife, Moses would not have done anything. So God stepped in and punished Miriam and Aaron began to apologise.
In the days of Moses, access to God was exclusive but with Jesus we are in a better position than Moses, the bible tells us that we are seated together with Jesus in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). If God punished Miriam for criticising Moses, God will punish those who have lied against you and done lots of things to make life miserable for you.
There's a key to letting God fight for you, it's humility. God can defend you without you saying a word. Moses was not even aware that they were talking at his back but God heard and fought for Moses.
Be rest assured that God is fighting your battles, God is slapping all those that have said all sorts of nonsense about you.
God said He talks to Moses face to face, your relationship with God matters, the closer you are, the more value He places on you. Draw closer to God. Everything you will ever need is in His presence.

Negotiate From Your Future




Joshua 2:12-13Now swear to me by the LORD that you will be kind to me and my family since I have helped you. Give me some guarantee that 13when Jericho is conquered, you will let me live, along with my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all their families.
You need to understand that at the time Rahab was talking to the spies, everything had been done by the military in Jericho to ensure that the Isrealites never entered the land of Jericho. The bible tells us in Joshua 6:1 (NLT) Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.
Jericho was one of the most secure cities of the Middle East, if the Israelis were to declare siege warfare on the city; the walls were strong enough to withstand any kind of attack.
Yet this prostitute by the name of Rahab recognised something uncommon, she could have behaved like the people who sighted the spies and reported them to the authorities but she knew what the God of Israel had done in the past and she knew that Jericho with all its security could not withstand the God of Israel and by faith, she negotiated the deliverance of herself and family from death, not only that she became one of the ancestors in the lineage of Jesus.
Beloved, if people knew your future, they would not treat you the way they do, notice the people that honour you and treat you specially at this phase when you are still struggling, they know you are a big deal. These kind of people are very wise, keep them close.
Just like all the walls of Jericho could not protect its inhabitants from the God of Israel, nothing can stop what God has planned for you! Let them do everything in their power to prevent your promotion and success, it will come to nothing! Let them hide your contract file, you will still get the contract, let them fill your appraisal with queries and bad reports, they cannot stop your promotion, all your enemies' best effort is a joke in the sight of God.
God will give you a winning strategy, you will win, and they will wonder how you did it.
Begin to tell those that place value on you from now on that their day of reward is coming, talk from the future, promise people a million dollars from the billions God will bless you with, let the future be real to you, it is real to your enemies that's why they do everything to stop you.
Don't ever, never ever rate yourself from where you are. A future king is groomed for the throne; a lion cub is groomed to be the king of the animals. What future has God promised you? What future can you see? Begin to behave like that future!

Let God Lead




Numbers 9: 17-23 Whenever the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the people of Israel would break camp and follow it. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel would set up camp.18In this way, they traveled and camped at the LORD’s command wherever he told them to go. Then they remained in their camp as long as the cloud stayed over the Tabernacle. 19If the cloud remained over the Tabernacle for a long time, the Israelites stayed and performed their duty to the LORD. 20 Sometimes the cloud would stay over the Tabernacle for only a few days, so the people would stay for only a few days, as the LORD commanded. Then at the LORD’s command they would break camp and move on.21 Sometimes the cloud stayed only overnight and lifted the next morning. But day or night, when the cloud lifted, the people broke camp and moved on. 22Whether the cloud stayed above the Tabernacle for two days, a month, or a year, the people of Israel stayed in camp and did not move on. But as soon as it lifted, they broke camp and moved on. 23So they camped or traveled at the LORD’s command, and they did whatever the LORD told them through Moses.

Who and what determines where you work, what business you do, who you marry, where you live, what you wear and what car you drive? Do you leave them to your reasoning or you seek God before making minor and major decisions in your life? The bible says you should acknowledge God in all your ways and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6).
Many of us have segregated the things we pray about but the bible says we should acknowledge Him in ‪#‎all our ways. It includes the food we eat, the car we drive, where we live, where we work, the hospital we register in, the bank we use, the clothes we wear; ALL!
Don't change your job simply because the new job pays more money, seek the mind of God. There will be favour wherever God wants you to be, the loss of favour is most times the signal God gives to let you know that it is time to move on.
Make up your mind to pray about everything and to let the Holy Spirit direct you. The result will be that:

1. Your mistakes and regrets will reduce 

2. You will make more money

3. You will arrive at your goals faster and your results will stand out.

4. People will look up to you for wisdom but it is actually God working through you.
We are all guilty of sometimes depending on our wisdom, may God help us all in Jesus name. Amen

What Every Man Should Know

Dear husband/ men, there are certain facts you must know about your wife and women in general:



1.While man was formed from the dust of the earth and God breathed into man to make him a living being, a woman was formed from man's rib (Genesis 2:21). Women will always dazzle men because when God created the woman, man was unconscious, he was in a deep sleep.

2. God used to visit Adam in the cool of the evening yet God noticed that even He the creator of the universe was not enough for man. God saw that all He had created was #very good but He said it is #not good that man to be alone (Genesis 2:21). A woman is to a man what God cannot be to him. 

3. The latest of anything is always more advanced and the woman was the very last being that God created. The devil immediately saw how powerful the woman was and he has been using them ever since. 

4. God said to Adam in Genesis 3:17-19 Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree
whose fruit I commanded you not to eat,
the ground is cursed because of you.
Eve persuaded Adam to disobey God. All Adam knew before Eve came was only the instruction God gave him. Women can be very persuasive, that's why you may see your wife angry over you calling an ex girlfriend or dropping your card for a lady because she can sense what the other lady is doing and you don't even have a clue what going on.  Men are no match for these powerful beings. 

5. There is only one way to be ahead of women and that is to be a man of God. A man who listens and obeys God's instructions and does not turn to the right or to the left is the only kind of man a woman can truly respect.

 Have you noticed that women listen more to their pastors than their husbands? Have you noticed that there are more women in church than men? It is because something in women yearns for true authority which many husbands or men  don't know anything about. 

 Money will not bring you respect only the God in a man can truly make your wife look up to you.

I want to encourage all men especially husbands to move closer to God, you need God to keep your marriage and to resist temptations. It is highly guaranteed that you will fail without God. May God help us all.

Focus on the Future




Hebrews 10:35-39 (KJV)
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. 36For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Jesus ignored and endured the insults and pain of the moment because He knew what was ahead; the future was His reality not the sufferings of the present.
A pregnant woman does not focus on the pains of childbirth; her focus is to give birth to her baby. Beloved, I don't know what you are going through but I want you to press on, don't give up, keep pushing, keep believing, a day will come when you would look back and be grateful that you did not turn aside.
Waiting for that miracle may be tormenting and frustrating but it's worth it in the end, when doubts and pain come, think of the end result.
Are you a lady of marriageable age and all the guys you meet say they must sleep with you or test drive but the moment you tell them there will be no sex before marriage according to the bible, they leave you? Don't worry my dear, there is honour in doing it God's way, God will honour and reward you, He will send you a man after His own heart.
God sees your labour of love and your day of honour is coming.

God Always Restores What Men Take Away




Matthew 11:28 (NLT) Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
God can give you what people refuse you. If you have been cheated or denied what rightfully belongs to you don't fight it, rather say "Thank You Jesus", it's a very hard thing to do but you must understand that silver and gold belongs to God (Haggai 2:8) and that promotion does not come from the east or west, it comes from God (Psalm 75:6). Yes! all power belongs to God (Psalm 62:11).
If one door closes, God can open another, if one window of blessing is shut, God can open several. Trust God to take care of you. As long as you trust Him, you will always laugh last, you will always be the last man standing.
All things are working for your good, it doesn't matter how bad things look at the moment, in God's time everything becomes beautiful. Beauty is coming out of that shame, a message of hope is coming out of that mess, mind blowing results are coming out of that insult.
Your best days are ahead of you, that challenge didn't kill you, it only made you stronger. The devil really planned to take you out but he failed again and again, if he tries a billion times, he will fail a billion times because if God be for us, ‪#‎nobody can be against us!
I want you to enter everything with the confidence and assurance that victory is certain eventually, you may lose small wars but you will win the battle. Be excited about the future, the moment is fleeting, it is passing already. You will arrive in destiny and purpose and that glorious future in Jesus name. Amen

What To do When You Begin To Prosper


Genesis 26:13 (NKJV) The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;
There is always the beginning to prosperity, a time will come when God will open new channels of blessing in your life, be very sensitive and observant. It may not be five million naira but the point is you are now making more money or you have more opportunities than what you had in the past. It could be a promotion or even people walking up to you to give you money.
Apart from removing your tithe first, there are 3 things you must do when God begins to bless you thus;
1. Thanksgiving: every time you get that extra money, every time someone you didn't expect gives you money, every time you get paid your new salary. Dance and praise God, acknowledge Him as the Source, let God know that it is not a coincidence, recognise Him as the wind beneath your wings. Whatever you thank God for will always multiply.
2. Share your testimony: your testimony is another person's miracle, don't hide what God is doing, as you testify, God takes the glory and He is committed to doing more for you.
3. Believe that God wants to give you more than what He has given you right now: the bible says the man ‪#‎began to prosper and ‪#‎continued prospering until he became ‪#‎very prosperous. God wants you to be very prosperous, you must settle it that God is not a flash in the pan, He can bless you consistently till you overflow.
The devil will tell you that what you are enjoying is just for a season but tell him to shut up because the bible said 'the path of the just is like a shining light that shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day' (Proverbs 4:18). It means you will never have a better yesterday, it means where you are is the least you will ever be. Don't ever allow the devil to sell you that lie, refuse to accept anything less than what the word of God says.

The Pursuit of Purpose



John 1:21-23 They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?”
He said, “I am not.”
“Are you the Prophet?”
He answered, “No.”
22Finally they said, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
23John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’
When people ask you the question "who are you? " what do you say?
Do you start telling them your father's name and the schools you attended or you tell them the purpose for which God created you?
If a pen and a car and a bed and shoes have a reason why they were manufactured why do you think all you came to do on this earth is to earn a salary, marry, give birth to children, buy a house, build houses and die?
There is more to you than you can see, God did not make a mistake when He created you that's why nobody has your fingerprints and nobody is exactly like you. For you to know why you were created, you need to ask the manufacturer; God.
I want you to take time out to pray and ask God to reveal your purpose; the reason why He created you, that is the only place where your life will be fulfilled. God will speak to you because He wants you to fulfill purpose.
Begin to plan towards that which God reveals to you. All that you need will come to you.

Tigho & Collins Celebrates 2nd Year Anniversary


Happy Anniversary to the captain of my ship,the crown that fits perfectly well over my head,its seems like it was just yesterday we started this journey of ours. its been 730 days of God's divine favour over our lives. It takes a real man to love a woman like me,thank you for changing my status and  giving me a priceless beautiful daughter. I loved you,i love you and will forever do,you bring so much light to my life.may God give us the grace to continually grow in His love and bring up our children together.
