"Open this door Anita, don't kill yourself over a man o". Anita's mum knocked repeatedly but Anita wouldn't open the door, she had not come out of her room in four days. Her pillow was soaked in tears, her eyes were swollen and she had lost a lot of weight. Where was she to start from? How could she go on without George, her precious George, the more she thought of him, the more she cried.
She had never imagined her life with any other guy, but George had broken her heart mercilessly after she had dated him for five years. He had been distant of late but she attributed it to pressures of work and probably because he was trying to save for an engagement ring. George called a day before Valentine and asked her to meet him at a restaurant not far from his house. She thought to herself that Valentine was starting early; she was excited.
His first words to her at the restaurant was "baby we need to talk" alarms went off in her head. George told her that he loved her very much but he didn't just see himself spending the rest of his life with her. He told her that there was nothing wrong with her, she was every man's dream woman but he didn't see himself spending the rest of his life with her. He concluded that he was sorry and that another woman was involved and then he stood up and walked out.
She was dumbfounded for the next thirty minutes, she couldn't believe her ears. She managed to pick herself up and walked back home and for the next four days, she didn't leave her room. She decided she would never marry because men were just evil and she never wanted to experience that kind of heartbreak ever again.
For the next two years, Anita was mean to any guy that came her way, she was polite but firm, she had put up a wall and she was determined that no guy would bring it down but deep down she longed for a man who truly loved and desired her and all men she had met thus far had failed well except for Tony.
This guy called Tony was simply annoying, he would call everyday and send text messages every morning and night, she never replied but he was slowly eating away at her armor, she didn't know how long she could resist him and the guy was hot.
Tony was the most handsome man she had ever seen, he was Godly, young, successful and a power dresser. She saw how her female colleagues looked at him anytime he came to the office but she made up her mind, she would never compete for any man so she became very mean to him because her colleagues liked him yet she was hoping that she wouldn't push him away.
Tony kept on Anita's case for a whole year and his constant words to her was "my future cannot start without you, I cannot imagine my world without you by my side". At last she gave in to him and Anita is happily married today, she looks back today and she is very grateful to God that she didn't marry George because she had never been this happy and this loved.
Have you been heartbroken or jilted by the man or woman you thought you would spend the rest of your life with? They may have left in different ways; they broke up, cheated or they were snatched. Stop beating yourself up, they don't belong in your future! The man or woman God has ordained for you cannot marry anyone except for you! It will be so strong on their heart that nothing would be able to keep them from you!
The bible says in Songs of Solomon 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it. If a man tried to buy love with all his wealth, his offer would be utterly scorned.
Nobody or no situation can prevent the love of your life from locating you! If or she walked out, they are not the one! Wipe your tears and look good! Be grateful to God for setting you free from wrong relationships.
