What Do You Have In Your Hands?

"You have 2 weeks to pay this loan of five million naira otherwise we will sell your house"

Solomon had tried all he could to raise money, friends and family wouldn't give him any and his credit was bad with the banks. Solomon went to God in prayer and he heard  the Holy Spirit tell him "use what you have, I will bless it".

There was only one thing Solomon enjoyed doing, he loved painting art works but he never thought he could  make money from it. An idea came to him to start advertising his paintings on Facebook. In one week, Solomon sold over 5 million naira worth of paintings, he has also been invited to exhibit his paintings in 3 countries.

Beloved, what do you have? What can God bless? When the prophet's wife came to Elisha for help in 2 Kings 4:2, Elisha asked her, what do you have in your house? When Jesus wanted to feed the 4000 in Mark 8:5, he asked the disciples, how many loaves do you have? When David wanted to kill Goliath, all he had was stones.

Listen! When God wants to bless you, He will multiply that which is in your hands! The prophet's wife had just a jar of oil but it did not finish until she paid all her debts, 7 loaves and 2 fishes did not finish until it fed 4000, a single stone in the hand of a 17 year old boy killed a giant!

I say to you again, what do you have in your hands? That is what God will use to bless you! It may be something you enjoy doing, it may be a skill you acquired, it may be a nice voice, you may have people skills. Whatever it is, God will use it to change your life!

Work on that skill, practice, manage that skill and also commit it to God's hands and everything you lay your hands on will succeed.

The bible says in Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed. God expects you to have plans and actions! He wants you to come to Him with your strategy and He will anoint them! Don't look down on that talent or skill, God will use it to bless you.

My 20 year dream is to see the Gospel preached to a billion people through the social media. You too can be a social media evangelist, kindly share and repost this Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others can be blessed just like you have been blessed. Thank you for reading. Shalom
Jesus is Lord

  1. Loved this.
A lot of times we want God to multiply emptiness.
We don't want to bring something out or start from somewhere.
