Wilderness Does Not Mean Suffering!

The Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years because of their unbelief. Whenever someone tells you about the wilderness experience of the Israelites, the picture painted most times was that of a group of tired, hungry, poor people traveling through a desert,  this is NOT the truth!

The bible tells us in Exodus 12:36 that the Israelites stripped the Egyptians of their wealth; jewelry and beautiful clothes. So first of all it is established that they had clothes and jewelry.

The bible also tells us that God fed over 2 million people with manna and in Deuteronomy 8:4 Moses said;
"Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years"

So there were over 2 million people with beautiful clothes and jewelry who were divinely fed from heaven. If you saw a Jew during the wilderness days you would not know he had been wandering in the desert for 40 years!

One of the blessings God bestows on His people is that you never look like what you are going through or where you are coming from!

Just like the three Hebrew boys King Nebuchadnezzar threw into the fiery furnace, their clothes did not even smell of smoke!

Your wilderness moment is not a season of lack, it's a season of divine provision. You may not have money for a house but God gives you a house, you may not be making enough money on your job but God sends you divine provision.

Your wilderness moment is not the destination, it is the kitchen season of your life, people sweat in the kitchen, the kitchen is hot and upside down but the food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious and easy to eat!

Are you at that season of your life? God is preparing you for greater things ahead,  trust God to take care of you. There is one thing that can stop you experiencing divine provision and sustenance in the wilderness, it is INGRATITUDE AND DOUBT!

Ingratitude and doubt was responsible for the death of at least 2 million Jews, Jehovah made sure all those who doubted His promises did not enter the promised land. Stay grateful and don't doubt God. Even after difficult experiences let your response be "Thank You Jesus".

My 20 year dream is to see the Gospel preached to a billion people through the social media. You too can be a social media evangelist, kindly share and repost this Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others can be blessed just like you have been blessed. Thank you for reading. Shalom
Jesus is Lord
