Henry sat in his Gulfstream G500 deep in thought. Henry was a 30 year old debonair gentleman, he looked like a real life statue in his impeccably tailored Saville Row suit and Zanotti monk shoes. GQ magazine had hailed him as one of the best dressed men of his time but none of that meant anything to Henry, his greatest passion was expanding his father's real estate business.
Henry's father Sir Williams Offor had noticed his son's passion and had put everything his son needed to succeed at his disposal and he was terribly proud of him. Henry was on his way to China to secure a deal to develop the largest estate in the world and he was excited because it would make his father proud and it would expand their business. Henry made his father's business his business and his father elevated his status such that Henry had no equals amongst his friends.
The bible says in Matthew 6:31-33 (NLT) 31“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33Seek the Kingdom of Godd above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Many Christians are toiling and working three jobs and taking loans trying to make ends meet yet their lives become more miserable because of misplaced priorities. Your priority as a child of God is the Kingdom! If you make God's business your business, He will take care of you. You will have challenges but I tell you, the number of your challenges will be the number of your victories.
Many people use God and love things; you pray for that job or marriage or contract and now you don't have time for the things of God because He answered your prayer. Smart people on the other hand love God and use things, let your heartbeat be for God, what do you want to dominate for God? Do they know you are a born again christian in your office? Can people feel your passion for God? Do you downplay your spirituality to conform and fit in to society? Are you ashamed of preaching about Jesus?
Beloved, these are the days to get out of the closet, these are the days to make a stand for Jesus. If you dare to take God's business seriously, He will take care of you! Your needs will always be miraculously met! You don't have to take that loan! Yes I said it! God has a financial system but to be a beneficiary, you need to draw closer and be God's businessman/ businesswoman. It will be the best decision you will ever make.
