You have been praying to God for a husband but do you know you have met him? You didn’t just recognise him because he didn’t look like the picture in your mind. What you don’t know is that you will be the one to help your husband become the man of your dreams.
No man woke up one day and became so fly, so hot, so rich, God sent a woman to help him. Stop looking for ready made men, look for a man you can grow with and together you will build the future you desire. Have you heard the story of the late MKO Abiola? The first time he ate fried eggs was in the house of his first wife Simbi Abiola yet he went from there to become a billionaire! President Barack Obama was an intern collecting stipends when he met Michelle Obama who was already a working class lady. Imagine if she looked at where he was then! Ladies, God put a gift in you, you can tell a man that will make it even if he didn’t have anything when you met him.
I remember a girl telling me she wanted a fairy tale wedding so she couldn’t just marry a broke guy, she’s still very single and the makeup is beginning to disappoint her, she’s getting old.
What is your checklist for the man of your dreams?
Most women would say the following:
1. He must be God-fearing
2. He must be loving and caring
3. He must have a good job and an apartment
4. He must be hardworking
5. He must have a car
What if you met a man who was God fearing, loving, caring and hardworking but his salary is small, he doesn’t have an apartment and he doesn’t have a car would you throw him off the list? Most of the men who are billionaires today had nothing when they met their better half, all they had was their passion, little success and a big mouth. They would tell their wives “ I will be a billionaire when he had just hundred Naira in his pocket, he would talk about buying estates when he hasn’t paid his rent”.
Please don’t get me wrong, there are lots of useless, irresponsible men but if you see a man who sets targets for himself and meets them and he loves God and loves you please give him a chance. I remember the story of my pastor, he said when he asked his wife to marry him, the first question he asked her was “can you marry a poor man?” He was passionate about God but he never thought he would be the Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo that the world celebrates today.
A man who will be successful will have consistent habits: a man who has a particular time he prays, a particular time he reads his Bible, a man who tithes and who always comes true on whatever he tells you is going somewhere. Ifyou know that he loves you then give him a chance.
Ask God to reveal the future of the man you want to marry, you won’t really care about the present when you know the future. Remember the Bible says in Zechariah 4:10 Don’t despise the days of small beginnings.
