Fred looked at the crowd and began to cry, he couldn’t believe that just last year, he was on this same stage and they booed him off the stage, a year later, he was the number one celebrity in Africa, he got on his knees and began to scream “Thank You Jesus” the crowd went wild.
There is a season of just enough when you look to God to meet every need. God planned it that way because He is taking you somewhere and He needs to train you so you can grow into maturity; there is something He is working out. I found an insightful scripture in Exodus 13:17 (NIV)
When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt."
God kept Joseph in prison because He wanted to make him prime minister. If Joseph had been a free man, he would have left Egypt and he would have missed what God had for him. You may not understand why you don’t have enough money despite your seeds, tithes and offerings but always remember that God is more faithful than you.
My wife and I had to squat in my brother’s house for a while and I would pray to God and ask why He couldn’t just give us our own apartment not knowing that the apartment God wanted to give us was on the ground floor of my brother’s apartment!
Beloved, God has a surprise for you! It may not look like it but your next level is connected to where you are right now! Joseph had no idea that the palace was the next place after prison. You have no idea what God is up to but He is about to blow your mind and embarrass you with blessings, He is about to give you the harvest of all you seeds and offerings in a single day! The Israelites received the reward of all their 400 year labor from the Egyptians in a single day, it is your season of reward. Trust Jesus! I say again trust Him!
