The first thing that caught Joseph's attention about Mary was her blue eyes and auburn hair, she looked more like an angel than a mere human being. He always knew there was something special about her but now she had disappointed him, she said it was the power of the Most High that got her pregnant. What a disappointment women can be, she couldn't even tell him the truth.
Joseph slept with a broken heart that night, he wouldn't tell his family and friends that Mary was pregnant, he would slowly withdraw from her.
Joseph woke up with a start, he had been dreaming, an angel appeared to him and told him that Mary was not lying, he made up his mind to stay with her no matter the cost and he was right there by her side when she gave birth to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Merry Christmas to all of you! As we celebrate we shouldn't forget a very important message. The story of Christmas is also the story of a man and woman who loved each other and loved God so much that they could be entrusted with the most important event in history. Husbands can you discern the truth even it looks like a lie? Can the Holy Spirit trust you to be a foster father to the next generation of greatness?
