5 People That Must Pray For You

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.

Prayer is important because God cannot do anything on the earth unless someone prays. Prayer is giving angels the permission to bring to pass what God has spoken about you. It's important that you have a consistent prayer life but there  are also certain people whose prayers can influence your entire life as a matter of fact, what they pray is what happens to you in life! Who are these people?

1. Your biological parents: Make sure your parents; your dad and mum pray for you. Isaac prayed for Jacob and sent him away without any inheritance but by the time he came back to his father he had become a very wealthy man. Women don't marry a man your father doesn't support, his blessings are important. Hannah dedicated her son Samuel to God before he was born in the place of prayer and he lived and died as a priest because a mother prayed! 

2. Your spiritual parents: If you don't have biological parents that pray for you make sure you have spiritual parents! You need both but if you have spiritual parents who pray for you and whom you honor as parents, your life is settled! The bible says in Hebrews 13:17 (NLT) 

Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. 

They watch over your soul, your destiny, your future! Don't joke with your spiritual parents! It's important that you are not a spiritual orphan because there are battles you can't fight on your own.

3.Your wife/husband: Make sure your spouse prays for you. My wife and I pray for each other everyday.  You will be spending the rest of your life together and if you are the husband you are now her father and she is now your mother as well, your prayers  carry weight with God. Rebekah was barren for 20 years but when Isaac prayed for her, she had twins! 

4. Your children: Jesus said that anyone who will see much out of Christianity must trust God like a little child. Children don't see impossibilities and when you show them the ways of God, they will believe what you tell and show them about God. When they pray for you God listens because their faith is intact and simple. The bible also tells us that children have angels who are always in the presence of God (Matthew 18:10).  Teach your children to pray for you. 

5. Intercessors: Do you know what Jesus is doing in heaven? He is praying for you! 

Ezekiel 22:30 (NLT) says "I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn't have to destroy the land, but I found no one.

God wanted to destroy everybody at Sodom and Gomorrah but Abraham interceded for his cousin Lot. Peter was about to be killed but Christians were praying and an angel broke his chains and delivered him. You need people to keep praying for you. 

May God give us wisdom to go for these levels of prayers in Jesus name.
