Love Your Enemies

One of the most contested scriptures in the bible is in Matthew 5:44 love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

There are churches that believe enemies should die but trust me one of the best things that can ever happen to you is to have enemies.

Who is an enemy? An enemy is anyone who is jealous of your favor and wants to diminish your credibility.

One of the ways you know you are doing well is the emergence of enemies, they will begin to show up from different corners but when an enemy shows up get excited because your next level has arrived!

Your enemies will reward you more than your friends because they will reveal your weakness and you will have no choice than to be stronger  and better. Imagine that you are a very fat person; your friends won't call you fat because they know it will hurt but your enemy wants to hurt you so she can decide to put up your picture on social media and say "I know the fattest woman in the world". That will hurt but from there, you will begin to exercise and discipline yourself because you won't want that kind of thing to hurt you again.

In essence, enemies push us to our next level and bring out the best in us.

The best way to answer enemies is to have better results, that's why the bible says you should pray for them, pray that they won't die or be sick but they will constantly see you go higher. This is why Psalm 23 says He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

Take a minute to thank God for enemies, they are the ones who make our lives better and who let us know where we need to make changes.

You too can be a social media evangelist. Please share so that others can be blessed as you have been blessed. #ThankYouJesus
