"Where are you coming from at this time of the night? I knew it,
you have gone to see that prostitute again, useless man, my God will punish
you".
Raymond was perplexed, he had a long day at the office,
all he needed was just to rest and now this woman he called his wife was on his
case.
Truth be told, he had closed earlier but he decided to
hang out a bit with Jane his secretary; they had been getting very close lately
, she listened to all his troubles and advised him but there was
nothing more. He also decided to hang out because he wanted his wife to be
sleeping before he got home.
He couldn't remember why he married the woman in the first place, she
was just a monster and a trouble maker. Raymond said to her, "Florence can
you just relax, I simply had a long day at the office". Florence started
screaming, " you are a liar! I called your office and they told me you
left with that your tooth pick legged secretary, you better go back to her, you
are not sleeping in this house tonight, go back to your prostitute".
Raymond didn't have any energy to fight, he simply picked
his car keys and left. There was only one place he could go; he called Jane and
asked for the favour of passing the night on her couch, she didn't mind, she
was so caring, he felt like a king in her little apartment.
It was when she was trying to help him remove his tie that
there lips brushed and thus began the affair between Raymond and Jane his
secretary.
Dear wifey, the bible says in Proverbs 21:19 (NIV)Better
to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife.
There are 3 things that any husband cannot survive
without; they are food, sex and peace of mind. If you decide to manipulate him
with these 3, you will eventually push him into the hands of another woman. He
could be a bishop and a powerful man of God but he is very vulnerable in these
3 areas.
Whatever it is that your husband has done, don't make the
house an oven for him, let him know he can always come home no matter what. The
moment a man feels he is not welcome at his own home, he looks for where he is
respected and treated like a king even if that place is in the arms of another
woman.
Pray for your husband and be a pillar in times of trials,
your prayers can do a lot for him and your reaction to his weaknesses will let
him know how much he can share with you without being judged. May God give our wives
wisdom in Jesus name. Amen
