Michelle stared longingly at the rat poison on the table and then she
looked out of the window from her 4th floor apartment. She was trying to make
up her mind on how to commit suicide. This life was not for her and it was too
hard on her.
Michelle had dated Michael for 7 years, she had given him
the very best of her life, she even had to abort 2 pregnancies because he said
they were not ready to be married. She still spoke to him last night only to
see someone update a blackberry picture of Michael
getting married to another woman.
She fainted on the spot, she was resuscitated but she didn't have the
strength to live anymore, she just wanted to die.
She lay on her bed and began to cry when her hand it
something, she checked what it was and it was her bible as she opened it, her
eyes landed on Genesis 41:51 (ISV) Joseph named his firstborn son Manasseh
because, he said, "God has made me forget all of my hard life and my
father's house."
At that moment Michelle began to weep before God and to
confess her sins of aborting 2 precious lives; she suddenly felt a burden lift
off from her heart; she became a new person.
Michelle threw herself into God's work; she had no time
for anything else. It was not long before all the brothers in the church
started swooning over her. Finally she met Richard, she wondered where he had
been all her life, the guy was so sweet: he made her forget all her pain and
just recently, he proposed to her with a red Range Rover and a beautiful diamond
ring.
Beloved, I don't know what you have gone through in life,
it may be so painful that every time you think about it, you cry but I came to
tell you that God is about to give you new experiences, He is going to make you
forget that heartbreak and that conspiracy that was planned against you, He
will make you forget all the times you didn't have enough to eat. God will be
Manasseh to you, He will replace all the sadness in your life and replace it
with joy.
