Act Like Your Future

Richard's salary every month was #50,000 naira ($250) and he lived in a shack on the outskirts of town but nobody could tell because Richard did not look like where he was coming from. Richard was a messenger in a law firm but he dressed as well as the lawyers, he couldn't afford to shop where they did so he opted for second hand clothes, he also tried to learn as much as possible by being friends with the most successful lawyers, he would ask so many questions that they begin to call him the cross examiner.
This name encouraged Richard and he began part time courses in law, he would have to pay through his teeth and study at night but he was determined.
Richard knew that he had a great future regardless of his experiences in the past. He studied the manners and etiquettes of royalty and he imbibed such. When he got to the university, he met a beautiful, classy woman from a good family, she was way out of his league but he knew he had to marry for his future; he needed to marry a queen.
It was not a question of ‪#‎if he would make a success of his life, it was a question of ‪#‎when. The day finally came when he graduated from law school and the firm where he had been a messenger offered him a junior partnership, they told him, he had been a lawyer all along and they were only waiting for him to get certifications.
He finally had all that he ever wanted and today he is a SAN and legal counsel to very important people.
Many people limit themselves because of where they are coming from but I tell you that it is all in your mind. God created you in such a way that you will always want success, there is a hunger in you that craves the good things of life, God put it there!
Most people quench that thirst by thinking it's abnormal, you are God's idea of a a perfect human being when you think this way.
When God created the heavens and the earth, He said it was good but then He was constantly looking for what to improve on and He found it and said "it is not good for man to be alone".
God is always improving, don't be content with the status quo, the fact that nobody in your family has done it before is the reason why you should do it! God has created you to be a barrier breaker, what can you improve on, what can you dominate, what can you create? Ask God to open your eyes and enlarge your coast.
