I was at the most gorgeous wedding I have been to this year, the year is not over yet but I am certain #TWISH2016 has it.
The congress hall of the Transcorp Hilton was transformed into a black and white palace, the food was 7 star, champagne and wine flowed freely (I settled for chapman of course 😬), the MC Tee A was on top of his game, the live band and the Dj were on fire, Twinkle and her husband were the toast and prayer point of many single ladies. In one word, last night was lit, it was turnT! 🙌
Yet that is not the point. The point of this post is the bride. I remember Yinka writing about how she had a child out of wedlock and all that she had to go through. She decided to have the baby, she didn't have an abortion, many women would have done that because they would think of what people would say and the fear of never getting married.
Not Yinka, she had the baby and she raised him proudly, she never hid the fact that she had a son and she threw herself in the service of God. God honored her, He sent her a complete gentleman who accepted her totally.
Yesterday was not just a celebration of love, it was the confirmation that God honors those who honor Him. Are you a young lady going through the same challenge, stay with God and He will honor you.
Once again, I wish Mr and Mrs Adeyemo a happy married life. I celebrate you.
