"Ruby we are going to grandpa's house for Christmas". Ruby squealed with delight and danced all over the house, she was so excited. "I love going to grandpa's house because he will buy me toys and give me sweets and plenty ice cream and plenty money, my grandpa is the bestest, when are we going daddy? Can we go now? Let us go to grandpa's house"
Beloved, the way Ruby is excited to visit her grandpa is the same way we should be excited about the presence of God. Whenever you come into the presence of God either in church or during your private prayer time, you never leave the same, you may not know it but God deposits gifts and blessings in you.
The bible says in Psalm 16:11 (ESV) You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Just like your skin glows and your body is healthy when you eat good food, that is the same thing that happens when you continually enter the presence of God! You will just know what to do, God reveals secrets to you, you will get ideas that will change your life!
Beloved, invest time in God's presence, never start your day without spending time in God's presence. If you cannot go out without bathing and brushing your teeth, don't start your day without first of all spending time in God's presence.
