"Baby I just bought a car" Segun smiled excitedly as he showed his girlfriend Lola the car. Lola took one look at the car and hissed "is this what your friends are driving? A 2010 Mercedes in 2015? You no try at all o" Segun could not believe his ears, he had been saving for 4 years just to buy this car and this is what he got from the woman he wanted to marry.
Memories of pain began to flood his mind; he remembered the many little things she never appreciated. When he bought her a YSL bag for her birthday, she said she wanted Gucci and Christian Louboutin shoes, when he took her on a trip to Dubai for valentine and they stayed at The Hilton, she said she was ashamed because her friends were staying at the Burj.
All he ever wanted to do was make Lola happy but his best was never good enough for her. He realised that if he stayed with this woman, she would be the one to kill him. Segun looked at Lola, got into his car and said "you know what, it's over"
Two months later, Segun met Buki who made him feel like a king, she was so proud of him and so happy to have him in her life. Ten months later they were married. It's been 5 years since then and Segun has never regretted his decision.

A wife with strength of character is the crown of her husband, but the wife who disgraces him is like bone cancer.
I am talking to men this morning. Are you a guy hoping to get married soon and you have this beautiful gorgeous woman you are dating? Congrats to you but I want you to check for certain flaws, if you find them in her PLEASE don't marry her because those flaws will ensure you won't live long and your total existence will be miserable.
1. Don't marry her if she makes you feel less than a man; If she insults you and talks you down in front of friends, family and when you are by yourself, please don't marry this woman, things will only get worse after the wedding.
2. Don't marry her if she's ungrateful:
men can move mountains for the woman they love but if your best is not good enough for her, flee for your dear life! If whatever you give her is never good enough and she feels she can do better than whatever you are able to provide, please walk away even if it's a day to your wedding!
You will spend the rest of your life working like a slave and the best of the best will still not be good enough, it's a psychological problem common with depressed people, you don't need that liability.
3. Don't marry her if she compares you to others; if she makes statements like " is that what your mates are driving or wearing or giving their girlfriends?" Please run for your life, the day she meets a guy who lives up to her standard is the day your marriage will come crashing down. It's proof that she's not content with you. Walk away and don't look back.
May God help us all to choose the right life partner, it is the most important decision of your life.
