Don't Get Familiar

Familiarity is a killer, many have lost their blessings and deliverance because they were familiar or looked down on the vessel God wanted to use. 

Did you know that Jesus was like everyone else until He was 30 years old? His mother knew He wasn't ordinary because of how He was conceived but Jesus was a carpenter.

It's likely that if you lived around that time in Nazareth, you could have furniture in your home made by Joseph and Jesus.  

Yet when Jesus began to manifest His true nature, many people in that region could not switch to accept Him. They said in John 6:42  "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, 'I came down from heaven'?" The bible told us that Jesus could not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.

How you receive people is important. How do you receive your parents? How do you receive your pastor? How do you receive your boss? How do you receive your spouse? 

I have a distaste for people who lack honor. When you don't honor people you can't be honored and you can't get much out of life.  Don't be familiar with people who carry grace, you can't attract anything you become familiar with, you can only attract what you respect and honor.  The grace you respect and honor is the grace that works in your life.
