“Why are you praying, do you think God hears you”? “Pastor’s shoes are so nice, I wonder where he shops”
Have you ever been praying either at home or in church and your mind begins to wander and different thoughts just flood your mind? To you, it was just a thought but the devil planned it. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:10 (KJV) There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
That voice was deliberate and it’s purpose is to sow doubt and fear in your heart, to sow discord and distraction so that you will miss what God has for you. You must learn to recognise demonic voices, bind them and cast them out in the name of Jesus.
Whatever the spirit brings is what you deal with; for instance if you begin to have thoughts that make you scared “say devil, God has not given me the spirit of fear, God has told me to fear not, therefore you spirit of fear, I resist you and bind you in Jesus name Amen”
It could be lust, anger, envy, pride and many more. Your thoughts are the seeds for feelings. Proverbs 23:7 tells us that as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Whatever thoughts you permit is what you become. What thought should you permit? The Bible tells us that we should think ONLY on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, of good report, of excellence and of praise. Phillipians 4:8
