God Desires Fellowship

In the beginning,  man was created to have everything he wanted,  he didn’t even have a need. Angels and celestial beings were simply awed by this creature made in the image of Yahweh Himself.  God was so fond of man that He would leave the third heavens and His throne where there were innumerable angels,  seraphims and cherubims who worshipped Him all day and night shouting “Holy, Holy, Holy” and He would come and fellowship with Adam.
God loved Adam so much and He knew him so well that He realised that something was still missing in Adam’s life,  Adam didn’t even know what was missing in his life but God knew!  God was constantly watching over Adam to see if he needed anything,  He didn’t delegate angels, man was God’s PERSONAL  project from beginning to end!
Man is the splitting image of God!  We are the EXACT likeness of God! Genesis 1:26 tells us that God said,  “Let us make man in Our IMAGE according to Our LIKENESS!  God loved the idea of seeing Himself all over the world!  And when God wanted to breath into man, He held man’s limp body and spoke to man’s face (it takes breath to talk)  and man became a living being.

I said all these to get one point to you,  you were created for fellowship! Man fell the moment he stopped cherishing GOD’s words! God knows everything you need and the closer you are to Him the more He can do in your life.  If I were you,  I would make a commitment to spend time with God from now on.  Schedule your prayer and Bible study moments and just have a discussion with God as you would discuss with a friend. May God help us to love the presence of God more than any other place. Amen
