Pray Until Something Happens

Steven got to the office on Monday and a letter was waiting for him; it was a sack letter. He couldn't believe his eyes; nobody told him anything last week, his ratings were good, where did this come from? 

Steven had been taught that the first response to every challenge should be prayer and not panic. Steven locked his office door and knelt down to pray and as he did, the Holy Spirit dropped a scripture in his mind; Phillipians 4:6 (NLT) Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Steven began to pray; he prayed for 30 minutes, he decreed that whatever the devil was planning should be frustrated and then he gave thanks and went to meet his boss.  He was told that the board was trying to cut costs and it was a split second decision but that they would reconsider. 

Steven did not stop praying; he would storm the heavens 4 times a day with prayers and each time he would give thanks till his boss called him and said "congrats the board has changed their mind, they have let some other people go and your salary has also been increased"

Steven got back to his office and began to thank God for His faithfulness.

The bible says in John 10:10 (NLT) The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

The devil operates a 3 fold ministry and it is to steal, kill and destroy. Therefore when you see anything that wants to steal, kill and destroy in your life, it is of the devil and you must fight back with prayers, the devil cannot survive anywhere people pray. Prayers are spiritual missiles that demolish the weapons and soldiers of the enemy.

During a war, you keep throwing missiles and firing bullets to the camp of the enemy till they surrender. The same can be said of prayer; you must pray until something happens, don't stop praying until you see results, stay fervent in prayers!

 Houseflies don't perch on hot stoves, weeds don't grow on a path people pass everyday, goats don't sleep on expressways. Every irritating situation will stop if you set out time to pray. Keep firing missiles, keep storming the enemy's camp! Don't stop! Don't stop!
