Linda left the office in tears, her boss was always threatening her, she was such an insecure woman.
She decided to go and see her doctor because she had been feeling pains on her stomach. After the checkup, the doctor said to her "Madam, it looks like you have fibroid". Linda felt like running mad, she got home and sobbed like a baby, she just wanted to be happy.
As she was crying and feeling bad about her life, the Holy Spirit said to her "have you heard what I have to say?" The Holy Spirit asked her to turn to Lamentations 3:37 (ESV) Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it?
The Holy Spirit began to explain to her that people would always say things to her but the only things she should believe are the words that He speaks to her through the bible.
Linda wiped her tears and it dawned on her that her boss was just flesh and blood, she was not God and the doctor too could just have an opinion but the final decision was with God. She prayed about her boss and her health and God settled it. Linda now has a very good relationship with her boss and the last time she was in the hospital, the doctor couldn't find any trace of fibroid.
Many times we are like Linda, we believe what men say but we never check to see what God says about the situation.
What is your boss saying? What is your doctor saying? What is your bank account saying? What is your landlord saying? It doesn't matter how ugly their words are, the final authority and the last say belongs to Jehovah and He has said that you will be the head and not the tail, that you will be above only and not beneath! He has said that He is the Lord that heals you (Exodus 15:26)! He has said that He has met all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!
It doesn't matter WHO says it as long as he is a man and has blood flowing in his veins, God created him, he is not God,Jehovah has the final say in our lives! Glory Hallelujah!
