"You are my friend, I can't lie to you, if you don't do some runs while you have the chance you will die a wretched poor man"
Rufai was a civil servant in the Ministry of Works, many people believed that Rufai was very lucky, he worked directly with the minister and a lot of contracts passed through his table but Rufai was a Christian, he never took a bribe and he never collected gifts, all his colleagues and friends thought he was foolish.
Rufai had an official car which the government had monetized, he was paying out of his salary every month for the car, he lived in a rented apartment and his children were in good schools. Rufai's friends on the other hand owned houses, had many cars and their children were in schools all over the world.
All of Rufai's colleagues were so certain that Rufai would die poor if he lost his job. Unknown to his friends, the President was compiling a list of civil servants with integrity and Rufai's name was number one on the list. Rufai woke up one morning to hear on the TV that he had just been made the Minister for Works. Rufai's life changed from that moment on, he put God first and God honored him.
The bible says in 1 Kings 18:46 (ESV)
And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah, and he gathered up his garment and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
There is such a thing as divine speed! One of the decisions that guarantee divine speed is faith! A man of faith is a man of speed. What is happening in your office or around you, if you decide to honor God by living your life the way God wants you to, He will put you ahead of others and give you speed.
Don't believe the nonsense people say that you have to be crooked to be rich that is a lie from hell! The bible says about the righteous man in Psalm 112:1-3 (ESV) Praise the LORD!
Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,
who greatly delights in his commandments!
2His offspring will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3Wealth and riches are in his house,
and his righteousness endures forever.
Anyone who obeys God and does what the bible says will be rich! It may not happen overnight but that is the reward of those who put God first! You don't have to cut corners or take bribes, God can prosper you. It may not happen overnight but it will happen. Don't get distracted and don't stop doing the right things. May God help us all.
