Psalm 23:4 (NIV) Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will
fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Sometimes we go through tough situations and we wonder
why God would let us go through such. We may not be able to understand what we
are going through but one thing is clear, He said even in trying times, He will
guide us and comfort us.
God has said He will never leave you or forsake you
(Deuteronomy 31:6). Be confident that even though
you may not understand what you are going through, you will come out stronger
and better and it will glorify God.
I will share 4 tips that will turn your test to a testimony:
1.Watch what you say, let the words you speak be faith
filled words, people may wonder why you are talking of abundance when you have
nothing but let God be true and all men be liars (Romans 3:4)
2. Have an attitude of thanksgiving. In everything the next
words should be "thank you Jesus". Think of the things that are going
well in your life and thank God for them. Remember God's faithfulness in the
past and thank Him for it.
3. Expect your change to come. Right in the midst of that
storm begin to visualise the future, visualise your 6 bedroom duplex even
though you are squatting with a friend, visualise your cars, even though you
barely have enough money to carry okada. The bible says "surely there is
an end and your expectation shall not be cut off. (Proverbs 23:18)
4. Stay away from people who feed your fears. Many people
will never see how you see things, don't fight them, refuse to discuss your
expectations, associate with and listen to people of faith.
It will happen, don't be depressed, feed and overdose on
the word of God. Your change will come!
