It was an evening of celebration and thanksgiving; The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) held a special service to celebrate Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo's birthday . Jesus Gave Me A Dream Job
I am a graduate of Law from Olabisi
Onabanjo University (OSU). I prefer to call it the hustler's university because
nothing comes easy in OSU. It was just a case of ‘everybody for himself, God for
all'. I was not the unserious type in university but somehow I managed
to finish with a 3rd Class. I moved on having faith in God but sometimes a
voice would ask me if I could ever make it.
I went to law school and thank God I
finished with a 2.2 (I need not mention that a 2.2 in law school is like a
first class in university). I read like I would die for the examinations. I
must let you know that I was expecting my first child by the time I gained
admission into the law school and I had my baby before I started my exams. It
wasn’t easy; I missed many classes due to my state. God has always been my rock
all along but this time I knew it could only be God. Most of those who tutored
me in preparation for the law school exam had a 3rd class but here I was with a
2.2.

Buki & Olumide: Through The Years
There is something about the right woman that will make you wait for as long as it takes and follow her to the ends of the earth because you know from the bottom of your heart that your future cannot start without that woman.
Buki and Olumide dated for 9 years! When Buki relocated to the United States, Olumide relocated as well, both of them will be back in Nigeria to tie the knots. This is a story of love, hope and above all trust and faith in Jesus Christ. These people knew what they wanted and they made sure no obstacle was big enough to keep them apart. Buki and Olumide. We celebrate you. Enjoy...

Ikechukwu Uzoma: Bagging A First Class Law Degree and Loving God
We are very excited to be sharing the testimony of Ikechukwu Uzoma, he was one of the only four students who had a first class in law school in a year where over 6000 students failed.
In this interview, Ikechukwu shares with us on how he gave his life to Christ and the secret to his success. Enjoy...
How did you become a born again Christian?
I got born again during a family devotion on the 21st of August 2006. This was after I had answered to several altar calls but found myself back to my old habits. On that day, my Dad explained what it meant to be born again and the fact that my old habits may rear their ugly heads but I must subject myself to God’s word daily and my mind will begin a process of renewal till I grow beyond those habits. It worked as he said and I began a journey with God that has been the foundation for all my successes.
How does it feel to be one of only 4 law school graduates with first class in Nigeria?
I feel very honoured and favoured by God to be one of the four students that graduated with First Class Honours out of a class of over 6000 students. I have been overwhelmed by the result since October 15, 2014 when it was published because I know my efforts wouldn’t have earned me that result. I feel so blessed by God and I believe it is a privilege to be singled out by grace. I remain very grateful to God!

COZA's Thanksgiving Service at New Church Building
"When we drove into Abuja just six years ago, we did not know anywhere, all we knew was the city gate, we probably knew two people in the whole city but see what God has done in just six years".
Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo |
The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly's (COZA) 2014 end of year thanksgiving service will forever be etched in the memories of those who attended the spectacular service. It was a thanksgiving service full of praises and worship to the Most High God who had done wonderful things for COZA and her members by moving them to their own auditorium in just six years of ministry in Abuja, Nigeria.

Gbemi & Siji; When A King Meets His Queen
Siji was one of my groomsmen and he told me few days after my wedding, "I am going to propose to her"and he proposed a week after my wedding. I guess the thought had been on his mind but when I met Gbemi, I knew why he was getting married, he had met the one woman who had the key to his heart, Gbemi on her part had met her king.
Ladies, until you see that man as a king, he is not the one but then, it takes a queen to recognise a king and Gbemi is no doubt a queen.
This is one pre wedding story and pictures you will not forget in a long time. Enjoy...
How we met - Gbemi's story
It was on my birthday 11th of November,
2012. My chief bridesmaid and birthday mate - Demidun, decided to chill at her
house to celebrate our birthday, before going to the motherless babies' home.
We were at her house with some friends of hers, my sister and a mutual friend,
when he walked in among others LOL and I noticed the black guy in green trads (I love green, but the one he wore was
just not it. LOL) and I was like, "mehn he is black o", (in a nice
way though).
After a while, we stepped out to
check out some outfits his friend was marketing. He came out also and got me a
shirt since I mentioned it was my birthday (awww how nice right). We exchanged Blackberry pins but really didn’t chat much; guess we weren't in the chatting mood
(wonder why).

We bring you the wedding pictures of Ronke and Eliagwu, we shared their pre wedding pictures few months back. If you missed it, click here. I love this couple for their creativity and excellence. Iseoluwa and Kunle; A Wedding Testimony
This testimony and wedding blew my mind. Beloved, another man's testimony is proof that God can do the same for you.I pray this testimony births faith in your heart. Enjoy...
Kunle's Testimony
Do you really know the power of dust?
We are truly created in God’s image, God formed us from dust, in Genesis He
said let's create man in Our image, the power of dust goes a long way, everything
in this world is made from dust.
Herbalists use dust for incantation and
blow it into the air and bad things start happening, Muslim Alfas use dust for
praying or for cursing (tabatiada), Christians sometimes go to the beach which
is a dusty area to pray. I learnt the principle of speaking God’s word into
dust and my story changed.
This God is just too much, my life is a big testimony, I wasn't born with a silver spoon but what God has done in my life made me understand that this God is just a MIGHTY GOD. Okiki Mighty, Okiki Sugar , Okiki Honey, Oyigiyigi ,Arugbo Ojo , Adagbamatepa, Gbanigbani lojo isoro, Oba loni , Oba lana, Oba titi ayeraye.
Our wedding was fixed for 22nd & 23rd August 2014and planning started. I did the 100 days fasting proclaimed by Pastor Adeboye for Redeemed Christian Church of God members little did I know I was fasting for the future and the battle ahead of me.
One month to our wedding, all customers refused to pay up, my Dad and I started pleading to all customers; we had never done that before. Someone close to the family of my wife and I decided to sponsor the clothes for both families, bought our wedding rings and gave us a jeep for the wedding; all these happened to the glory of God. Yet we were left with so many things undone. It was a week to the wedding and we had not bought drinks!By Thursday August 21, the miracles began; up till now everything still looks like a dream to me, customers I never believed started paying up, people that promised started redeeming their pledges.
After the wedding, I asked my wife where she would want us to go for the honeymoon, she said Dubai. We couldn’t afford it but we prayed about it. Suddenly, a family friend called and apologised for not attending the wedding and would love to sponsor us to Dubai. We got to Dubai and we met another group who sponsored our honeymoon. God just used this medium to open so many doors. I have so many business connections in Dubai at the moment.
My wife and I have decided to pay for the visa issue fees for any two newlywed couples that would love to go to Dubai for their honeymoon but they will handle their ticket.
By God’s grace, before ending ending/early next year, we will be moving into our own house.

God Made Billionaires; Do Won Chang & Jin Sook Chang
This is the continuation of a series titled 'God made Billionaires',we have shared the story of John D. Rockefeller, the richest man ever after King Solomon; read here and Mrs. Folorunso Alakija, the richest black woman in the world, read here. We bring you the story of Jin Sook and Do Won Chang. Enjoy...
Jin Sook and Do Won Chang
“When we came to America, I went to the top of a mountain
to pray – God told me that we should open a store and that it would be
successful”- Jin Sook Chang
Today, Mr Chang is famous for keeping a Bible
open on his desk, and the bottom of every Forever 21 carrier bag reads
"John 3:16", the core Christian message”
How did an immigrant who was a cleaner, dishwasher and gas station attendant become one of the richest men in the world?
It is hard to believe that
just 30 years ago, the first Forever 21 store was launched; today Do Won Chang
and Jin Sook Chang are one of the richest people in the world. According to
Forbes Magazine, they are worth $5.3 billion. There are close to 500 Forever 21
stores all over the world and in 2012 alone, they made a profit of $3.4
billion.
Their story
Do Won Chang was born sixty years ago on March 20, 1954, he is a
Korean-born American businessman. Chang grew up in South Korea and moved to California in 1981. Chang was working three jobs;
he was a dishwasher, a cleaner and also an attendant at a gas station. It was while
working at the gas station that he observed that all those who drove nice cars
were in the garment/ fashion business.
He and his wife, Jin Sook, opened a clothing store with their
savings in 1984 at Highland Park,
Los Angeles and named it Fashion 21. The store took off making a profit of
$700,000 in the first year alone and as they expanded to other locations, the
store's name was changed to its current title Forever
21. The number of stores grew to 457 by 2010. Forever 21 is amazing because
none of the clothes in the store costs more than $65 and it is ranked number
121 on Forbes’ list of America’s largest private companies.
The Changs are born again Christians, they
dedicate most of their free time to spiritual pursuits. They attend pre dawn
services everyday at 5am at Ttokamsa Mission Church when they're
in town; he also leads Bible study, and she's a deacon. "I think they get
a lot of business ideas and insight during early morning prayer time," Pastor Ken Choe says in an
e-mail.
According to him, they've
contributed millions of dollars to missions around the world and regularly go
on missions themselves, including to Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan. They've
told their daughters that when they retire, they want to devote themselves
fully to the church. "Mr. Chang said he would have been a missionary if
this hadn't worked out," says Linda. "This (Forever 21) supports
that. This is part of their missionary vision." Do Won Chang and his wife run the Chang 21 Foundation, which
donates money to churches and other faith groups. MR Chang cites the Bible as
his favourite book.
Mrs Chang also supports and encourages Christians
in the fashion industry as well. Rowena Rodriguez, a 33-year-old fashion consultant and one-time
unbeliever who was born again with Mrs. Chang's help, may be one of those lucky
designers. "In the short time I worked with Mrs. Chang, my life was
transformed, and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior," she
recalls in an email interview. "Mrs. Chang prayed me into the Kingdom!
Rodriguez says she
has been approached by executives looking for the secret to Forever 21's
phenomenal success. "I usually say, 'If you really want to know, I'll tell
you. But you won't believe me...The Changs love
Jesus!"
At the bottom of every Forever 21 carrier bag is written John 3;16 ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life’. Their eldest daughter Linda credits God’s Hand as the major factor for their success. “Every decision made has been with thoughtful prayer”.
The Changs also keep the business in the family; Mr Chang is the CEO,
Mrs Chang approves the designs, their two children are also in the business; their first daughter
Linda heads marketing while Esther, is in charge of visual elements of the
chain, such as graphics and window displays. "It's important my daughters
learn from the hard work my wife and I put into this company," said Chang,
who said a stock offering isn't likely any time soon. "Who better to look
out for your best interests than family?"
The Changs have had their fair share of controversies; according to Forbes 50
copyright violation lawsuits have been placed against Forever 21 by both well
known designers and smaller ones including Diane Von Furstenberg, Gwen Stefani
and Trovata are among the numerous designers that have also taken action
against the retailer. However they have never been found guilty and
have always made peace with their accusers.
There are vital lessons from the life of the
Changs; they have taught me to
- · Put God first
- · Own your business and keep it in the family
- · Stay faithful to your wife/ husband
- · Make peace with those who hate you
God bless the Changs, I celebrate and love them

Advice for couples getting married
Planning a wedding is a big deal. The best advice we can give couples is
never to go overboard.
You can still have a small and classy wedding! Do not put yourselves in
debt. Ours was a small wedding and it was grand. Ensure that you rest as the D day gets
closer; you can’t do everything, involve your reliable friends to help do some
of the running around so you are not stressed out before the wedding.

Folasayo and Biodun; A Woman, A Lover, A Friend
I am grateful to God for many things; one of which is the fact that my family and friends are doing very well. Biodun and I are family; we go way back from our days of stealing mum's car to the very many house parties (LOL). We rocked! Here we are today, getting married to beautiful, gorgeous women. God has been good to us.
I bring you the pre wedding pictures and story of Folashayo and Biodun, its a story of a woman who stood by her man through thick and thin and a man who knew what he wanted from the moment he saw her. They met on Blackberry Messenger, I met my wife on Facebook! Ladies, make sure your pictures on BBM and Facebook are always beautiful, you can never tell (LOL). Enjoy...
Biodun
Sometime towards the end of February 2012 I met my soon to be wife (I
refer to her as wife already anyway) on Blackberry Messenger (BBM). My very
good friend and school sister Ololade Olubajo had displayed her picture on BBM.
I asked who the fine girl was and that I wanted her pin. She used me to do
small shakara sha and I was on pending for a while till she finally accepted
the request.

Ronke & Elaigwu; Always & Forever
I bless the day the Holy Spirit whispered the idea to start this blog to me. It has been awesome sharing mind blowing testimonies and love stories. This is yet another love story about God's faithfulness and yes! the new sexy are young, stylish, classy, successful, Godly men and women who do not have sex before marriage. That is the true definition of sexy men and women.
Ronke and Elaigwu have lived by example and we are very proud of them. We celebrate them as we share their love story. Enjoy...
I attend Harvesters International
Christian Centre (HICC) and I am a leader in church but before I became a leader, I
was the most unserious person ever.
Elaigwu saw me the first day he came to
church (according to him) he said I was wearing a red dress but I don’t even have
one. I believe he was seeing in the Spirit (LOL).
We were preparing for winepress 2010
(spiritual growth camp) and he was just a new born again Christian. I was on
the committee with my sister and her husband and I noticed he kept staring at
me and started getting close to my sister.
I actually did not want to date
anyone, I was still all for having fun. He was on my case for 2 years, I
went for my NYSC in Abuja and he stays in Abuja so he visited me a couple of
times, we had fun but at the time, I was seeing someone so we had to stop
getting close.

Jumoke & Deji; L.O.V.E
Isaiah 61;3 (NIV)
...and provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
When I heard Jumoke's story, I knew I had to publish their pre wedding pictures and share their testimony. It is not a coincidence that we are publishing this story on September 1, for whatever heartbreak you are going through, get ready, God is about to make you laugh again. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram with @walejana Enjoy...
I had a massive disappointment in January 2013. A few days to my supposed introduction my fiancé whom I was engaged to decided to call off the engagement and I was extremely shattered.
Fast forward Mid last year a mutual friend of Deji and I introduced us to be friends, we talked for a while and in less than one month after we met, he said he liked my companionship and he would want us to date but he would want us to pray about it.
