You Need Haters

Sometimes I pinch myself to see if I will wake up from the beautiful fabulous dream that my life is becoming. God has been too amazing and to think that it was the people that hated me the most that God used to elevate me.

You see at my former office, a group of people hated me, I was confident, I was brilliant, I was well dressed, I was intimidating. I was an eagle among chickens. I must have made them very uncomfortable because these people really hated me and they planned to hurt me. It was a top level conspiracy, they planned to destroy me but God was with me.

When the persecution was too much, I would lock myself in my room or go to an upper floor at our office building and just worship ( God bless Terry Macalmon and Chris Morgan)

When they wanted to do the ultimate, they transferred me to Abuja and then after a while they decided to transfer me out of Abuja again in less than a year, that was when I decided I was done. The rest is history.

My point is this; thank God they conspired and tried to make life miserable for me because I wouldn't be running my own company and living this sexy life!

Ladies and gentlemen, you NEED haters to progress. When someone hates you, don't feel bad, be glad because promotion is near! I want you to be confident of one thing; your enemies will never win, they may be laughing now but believe me it's temporary!

The devil must have thrown a party the night Jesus was crucified but the bible tells us that "none of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Corinthians 2:8 (NIV)

Your haters are working for you, they will bring you more reward than all your friends! Don't retaliate, be kind to them. Don't leave your chariot to throw tomatoes at peasants, you are the last man standing and you will laugh last!

Get Your Father's Blessing!

 "Simon did you take the money I put here?"  "No daddy" Simon replied. Simon did not know that his father had installed a camera and Simon had been captured on video stealing money.

His father asked him to sit and played the video for him, Simon began to cry and said "I am sorry daddy". His father stood up and said "is this how you repay me for all these years? It was because of you that I didn't marry another woman when your mother died, now you are stealing from me? You will never make it in life you this wicked boy" and then he walked out.

Simon stopped crying and he was glad that his father didn't beat him. It was not until five years later that he realized what happened on that tragic day, his father had placed a curse on him and no matter what he did, he couldn't succeed, he was living from hand to mouth.

His pastor was praying for him when he told him to go and apologise to his father and to make sure that he blessed him. 

Simon went back home and asked his father to pray for him, his father said to him "my son you will prosper, everyone who sees you will favor you, money will come to you from everywhere". Few days later, Simon's father died but he noticed from that moment, his life took a turn and everything his father said began to happen to him. 

If your father is still alive and he has never blessed you, take gifts and everything he loves and go home. Ask him to bless you, a father's blessing is very important, your life goes in the direction of their words on your life.

Before my father died, I asked him to bless me, I didn't even know what I was doing but I asked him and he really prayed for me, he said one thing in Yoruba "Olorun a se e ni omo ti won mu yagan" (God will make you a son that everyone is proud of). By the grace of God what I hear people say the most about me is that they are proud of me. I know exactly what happened, I got my father's blessing.

You may not even be on good terms but whatever it is, settle it, you NEED that blessing from him. 

In life you will have two types of fathers whose words will decide how you turn out in life: your natural father and your spiritual father. Your honor for fathers is proof of your sonship. May God help us in Jesus name.

What You Need To Know About Favor

"Wilson nawa o, we came to this office together and now you are a senior manager, I am still an assistant, how did you do it abeg, me too I want to move up" Felix said.

Wilson smiled, he saw that Felix had a desperate look in his eyes, so he asked him to sit down.

"The first thing I want you to know is that one day of favor is worth a thousand days of labour so you must always go for favor, spending long nights at the office will not bring favor but I will tell you what I did"

1. Sow favor: whatever you sow you will reap so if you want favor you must show favor to people. When you see a man that has only one pair of shoes be the one to give him five shoes, give the guy selling pure water 1000 Naira and don't collect change, when you and your friends go out to eat, pay for everybody. God notices those things and he will cause men to pay you back.

2. Who likes you? Somebody enjoys your company, they just love you, stay close to those people, honor them and celebrate them they will bring you favor. Never get familiar or disrespect those people, your integrity matters a lot, so don't ever say what you can't do to them. 

3. Be grateful: have you ever given someone a gift and they made you regret? Make up your mind that you will never be an ungrateful person, whenever anyone does something for you, make sure your expression of  gratitude is unforgettable, thank them on that day and the day after. Gratitude is not just a thank you, for any gift you get, celebrate those who favored you for 2 days.  An ungrateful person has no future. 

4. Look good, smell good: There are some people you will never take to important places because of the way they look and smell. Joseph had been in the prison for many years but when pharaoh called for him, he shaved! He did not look like a prisoner!  If you smell horrible either its mouth odor, body odor, shoe odor or any kind of bad smell, you can chase favor away. 

Pay attention to personal grooming, be the best advertisement of yourself at all times.

5. Be the best at what you do; favor comes to problem solvers. If you are at that job simply because you want to get money every month, you will soon be frustrated and you won't grow. Do the things you love and you are obsessed, build your life around the things that inspire  you and favor will find you! 

My friend this is how I got here, if you practice these 5 steps you will move up quickly in life. Favor is the shortcut to success.

Raise Your Hands to Jesus

My daughter is a year old, whenever she wants me to carry her she would raise her hands and if I don't answer her on time she would start to cry but the moment I carry her, we would be friends again. She couldn't force me to carry her but she could raise her hands in expectation and I knew she wouldn't stop until I carried her.

The bible says that he who must come to God must have the heart of a child. Are you desperate for the things only God can do, are your arms raised in expectation? For you to prosper in these trying times you need God! You will literally have to walk on water in the world of today for you to prosper, people are losing jobs and the economy is tight but not for everyone!

As many as raise their hands to Jesus to carry them will be exempt from the economy of the world system. Ladies and gentlemen, there is another economy. The American ambassador may be living in Nigeria but his salary is not paid in Naira! You are not a Nigerian, heaven is your country and God pays  your bills.

These are facts you must believe in the world of today to stay alive! Peter walked on water with Jesus but then he began to look at the storms and the wind and he began to sink. The same thing applies to you don't look at anything around you, focus on Jesus the Author and the Finisher of your faith, He will perfect all that concerns you, as long as your arms are stretched out, He will carry you! Keep looking up with outstretched arms, your help will not come from your uncle who is a minister, it will come from the Lord who created the heavens and the earth! 

Jesus your Helper does not sleep or slumber, He is your VERY present help in time of need!  As much as your pastor loves you, he still sleeps but Jesus doesn't sleep or slumber, He is obsessed about you and He will not rest till He does all He has promised to do for you. Relax! You are in the hands of the Almighty!

You Are A Speaking Spirit

Don't touch my car, take a taxi to school" John looked at his father with his mouth wide open, they had over ten cars in their house and his father was telling him to take a taxi? He just shook 

his head and walked out of the house. He couldn't understand why the man was so hard on him. Everyone looked at him like a rich kid but his father made sure he worked for every penny. 

It wasn't until he grew up that he understood what his father was doing. He did well in school and his father asked him to name anything he wanted, anything? Wow! First of all he wanted the latest Mercedes Benz and when his father said he could have it and more, he was shocked but he was also very happy. 

So he took a minute to ask his father why he made him struggle for many things, his father said to him "son I wanted you to grow up with principles, that's the only way you can manage the wealth I am entrusting to you successfully"

Beloved, you are going through some things right now and you are wondering why. You are broke when God says Christ became poor so that you can become rich, you are sick when the bible says Jesus healed you by His stripes. 

You are feeling as though God has forsaken you but He hasn't, He is right there with you and He is watching you work the Word and work your faith! If God dropped everything on your lap, you won't grow! He is waiting for you to talk like the Son and Daughter of God that you are! 

The day you decide to speak to that situation is the day it stops, you have been praying to God to do something when He has already given you the authority! The bible says in Matthew 18:18 (NLT) 
"I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.

You have been talking like a slave when you are the master, you have been behaving like a chicken when you are an eagle!  God is waiting for you to know who you are and to speak! 

Jesus gave us a blank cheque in John 15:7 (NIV) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask WHATEVER you wish, and it will be done for you.

BUT! The blank cheque is conditional "if you remain in me and My words remain in you" if you are one of those people who read your bible once a month or whenever you feel like, you will NEVER walk in this realm! But there are some people who go to God with His words and then permit or forbid things and it is done!

You think you are waiting for God but He is waiting for you!  What is it that you want to experience progress? Speak to it! I speak to everything, I speak to the perfumes I sell, I speak to my wardrobe and my shoe rack, I speak to my cheque book, I speak to my house! Your words are powerful, speak!  You are not just a man, you are a speaking spirit!

Grow up!

I put a bar of candy in my daughter's mouth and she was trying really hard to lick it but it was a little big for her mouth. I began to worry that she might choke on it so I removed it from her mouth. At that moment the Holy Spirit whispered to me "there are many good things I want to give to you but you have to grow up to be able to handle it".

Growing up has nothing to do with age, the Holy Spirit was talking about spiritual maturity.  What does spiritual maturity mean?

1. A heart filled with love: if you are still holding on to hurts and unforgiveness, if you are still bitter and you keep grudges, you can't handle the blessings God wants to release to you because you will hurt people with it rather than be a blessing.

2. Faith: One of the ways to know when someone is out of faith is that they don't pray.  Is your heart still filled with doubt? God has done amazing things in your life, do you still worry instead of trusting God? Are you still anxious when you ought to pray? Do you spend time building your faith by listening to the Word? If there is no Word then there will be no faith and when there is no faith, there will be no results! 

3. Giving: Are you still squeezing 100 Naira in the offering envelope? Are you still cooking up stories to tell people so they can give you money? One of the signs of spiritual maturity is your understanding of sowing and reaping. You won't be forced to give any longer because you know that you have an heavenly bank account you are depositing to when you give to men. 

Let me ask you a question; when you prayed to God to send money, did He come down from heaven or did you see an angel? No! He used a man! The same way when you want to give to God, you give to your spiritual authority! 

Pay attention to these 3 points for the rest of the year and watch what God will do.

What You Don't Know About Femi Fani Kayode

I am not a politician, as a matter of fact, my first exposure to Nigerian politics and politicians was the most unpleasant moment of my life.

So when I talk about Chief Femi Fani Kayode, I am not talking about him as  a politician, I am talking about him as an elder brother and I am also talking about him as a social media evangelist, I am on assignment, I  am a loudspeaker, I will speak whatever the Lord has put in my Spirit.


The bible says in Matthew 10:27 (NIV)

What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.

To many FFK as he is fondly called is a controversial figure in Nigeria today and with his recent incarceration, many are thinking; could this be the end? Those who are filled with the Spirit do not judge by their eyes or by what they hear, a lot that is happening to FFK right now has spiritual implications which will eventually lead to the fulfillment of a prophecy that God has spoken about FFK.

There are certain things you should know about the man called FFK;

1. FFK is descended from a line of pastors, his great grandfather Reverend Emmanuel Adedapo Kayode brought Christianity to Ile Ife, there are deposits of mercy on his life. The bible says in Exodus 20:5-6 5You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

There is a covenant of protection working on his life, he has faced a lot of troubles but he always comes out victorious. FFK  went to seminary school at the Action Chapel, Ghana.

2. Those who hate him the most end up promoting him: the former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo thought FFK was a "stupid boy" but he ended up making him a special assistant, the Minister for Culture and Tourism and later the Minister for Aviation.  Former president Goodluck Jonathan despite all the persecution made him the director of Media and Publicity and now President Buhari has thrown him in prison.  You may be wondering how throwing someone to prison is a promotion.

  If you take a moment to do your research on Nigeria, most of the people who ended up leading Nigeria went to prison for a while. The late Obafemi Awolowo was sent to prison,  the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello was sent to prison, former President Olusegun Obasanjo was sent to prison, even President Buhari went to prison in 1985 The prison is a preparation for the palace!

     3. FFK will be president of Nigeria: I  am sure at this point, you have many questions; "how much did they give this guy? Is he high on something? Hahahah that is not possible, it can never happen".

     The first time the Holy Spirit whispered this to me was in 2013, the Holy Spirit has asked me to write this article because God's way of doing things is to say things ahead of time.
The bible says in Isaiah 42:9 (NLT)
Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens."

There are so many reasons off the top of your head that you can give to justify the impossibility of this prophecy but the bible also says in 1 Samuel 16:7 (NLT) People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

The man may have many flaws you can point to but God says in Romans 9:15 I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."

The Lord God Most High in His infinite wisdom has chosen to have mercy on FFK, there is nothing no man can do about it.

How do you know when a man of God talks? What he says will come to pass. Don't judge me yet, give it time, I have spoken what I was instructed to say, I am a loudspeaker, I have shouted at the roof top what was spoken to me in secret.

To God be the glory, honor and power forever!

The Blessing

   "My guy, I know the business we should do, perfumes are selling, there is a guy that sells perfumes on social media and he is making money, let us start selling perfumes"

I have had a couple of people come to spy at what we do at Sapphire Scents and I just laugh, it's NOT ABOUT THE PERFUMES! It's the COVENANT! God said to me in Genesis 12:2-3 

2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous anddistinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].3 And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; 

The covenant is what makes a difference! People with no covenant follow trends, they are jack of all trades and master of none. 

A nation refers to a large number of people, for instance Facebook is seen as a nation, same for Twitter and Instagram. Your business can become a nation!

The good thing about the BLESSING is that it will work for any child of God who believes it! Acknowledgement is the button of operation, the moment you acknowledge that the blessing is on you by faith, it starts working for you.

The BLESSING is a 2 edged sword, those who make like beautiful and easy for you are blessed and those who talk bad about you, those who are jealous of you and envy you are cursed. Don't fight a man of grace because you will be disgraced!

Are you a born again believer? Then you should be living in the BLESSING! Acknowledge it, meditate on this scripture and your life will never be the same. Happy Sunday

5 Factors That Makes a Woman Submit

"You this woman have you forgotten who the head of this home is? I am your husband, you will show me respect or..." Nneka stood up and said "or what? Or you will stop paying the rent which you have never paid or pay your children's school fees which you don't even know about or put food on the table in this house?" The only thing you do is to drink and womanize you don't deserve any respect and let me warn you Collins, the day you so much as raise your hand at me is the day this marriage is over"

Many men want the women in their lives to be submissive but women don't just submit, the only time a woman submits is when she sees that you qualify as the head! Women are intuitive and they can see things you cannot see!  What kind of men do women submit to;

1. A Godly man: Man was made from dust but women were made from man's ribs (Genesis 2:22)  women are a miracle, there are deposits of the supernatural in women that's why they are attracted to the spiritual. A true man of God is a magnet for women. If you want that woman to respect you, move closer to God, you won't struggle for it.

2. A provider: Women were created to receive; they were created to receive love, to receive seed, to receive compliments. It is not the job of a woman to put food on the table even if she makes a billion dollars. That is why the bible said that a man who does not provide for his family is worse than an infidel and he has denied the faith. 1 Timothy 5:8

3. A man of integrity: if your woman has to doubt the words of your mouth because you never keep to what you say, you will soon lose respect. Be a man of your words, let her be able to vouch for you. 

4. A loving man: women have no barriers or defenses against love. Women were created to be loved. A man who loves his woman will have her respect for life. That's why the bible commands men to love their wives and she in turn will submit! A man's greatest need is a respectful wife, a woman's greatest need is a loving husband! 

5. A generous man: I am convinced that God treats you the way you treat your wife. Spend good money on your wife, she represents you, her skin must shine, if the cream costs 100k a month buy it, God will bless you! Lavish her with the best things of life, when she is around you, let her know that anything is possible, let her know she can never have a need you cannot meet. The bible says we should love our wives as Christ loved the church and GAVE HIMSELF UP for her! If you need shoes and your wife needs shoes, buy hers and manage what you have.

If you follow these 5 points, you won't have problems with submission. May God help us all in Jesus name.
