You Will Overtake!

"Prophet Elijah are you not coming? The rain is coming just like you said, please share my chariot, it moves very fast" King Ahab tried to persuade Elijah but Elijah said to him "don't worry about me, go ahead" 

King Ahab left and his chariots were running swiftly but suddenly he saw Prophet Elijah running and he got to the city gate before him who was in a chariot with fast horses.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is something called divine speed, what should take 30 years can take 6 months, what took your father a lifetime to do can take you 3 months. 

Think about it, rain was about to fall, it was going to be a serious one and this man of God had the opportunity to drive in the presidential Mercedes (that's what a chariot would be in the world today)  but he refused, he was waiting for God. He didn't care that the rain was near, he chose to trust God instead and God didn't disappoint him.

King Ahab left before Prophet Elijah but he didn't get to the city before him. I don't know who has gone ahead of you, you may be on a spot at your office because you refuse to do corrupt things, you may be single because all the so called Christian guys you are meeting still want to sleep with you, you may be broke right now because you dropped all your money at the altar on Sunday.

I came to announce to you that they may have gone ahead of you but you will overtake and arrive before them! You chose to put God first, you chose to honor Him, you wanted God's result instead of what the richest man could do, God said to tell you that He will honor you! 

There are certain things you have given up hope about, God said to tell you that He will turn them to Isaac for you, He said you will laugh and others with laugh with you. Get ready, you have entered your best season yet, God has been saving your blessings and now He is pouring all of them out on you at the same time, everyday will be a new surprise and a new miracle just when you thought He is through with you, He will do another one again, get ready!
