"The bible says we should not engage in premarital sex but I am scared o, what if I marry the man and he is impotent?" I know the story of a Christian brother who was impotent and he used the bible as a cover to marry a lady, she didn't know until their wedding night.
I have heard this question so many times and it has become a stronghold for many Christian ladies. If you believe God created you then you have to trust Him with your life and all your decisions. Where was Adam when God was creating Eve? He was sleeping and it was not a voluntary sleep! The bible said in Genesis 2:21 (NIV) So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and then closed up the place with flesh.
God commanded man to sleep and then He did a surgery on man, He knew the EXACT rib to choose, He knew the EXACT woman to create, He knew the EXACT man for that woman!
Then God woke Adam up and brought the beautiful, luscious Eve to man and Adam became a poet, he said "My God! See babe! This is definitely for me, this woman was created specially for me, she is flesh of my flesh and blood of my blood, she will be called woman"
Whenever you obey God, you will have peace, some obedience may cause you initial pain but there is reward at the end. The bible says in Proverbs 3:5 (NLT) Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6Seek his will in ALL you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
Your first response at all times should be to know what the bible says! If you live your life this way, you have signed up for a life of joy, prosperity and miracles. Happy Sunday.
