Jesus Understands!

Sophia pinched herself as she paced back and forth at the penthouse suite of the Burj Arab, Dubai. She couldn't believe that she a village girl who never left Nigeria till she was 30 years old could now be lodging at a 7 star hotel. She lay face down on the wine Persian rug and began to magnify God and to worship Him. She realised that God had been faithful to her despite all her shortcomings.

Sophia had an amazing voice, she could be in a room full of people and nobody would recognize her until she starts singing, her voice was simply irresistible. She was a member of the choir in her local church and by the time she was sixteen, music executives started approaching her to sign up to their record label and she would tell them that all she wanted to sing was gospel music, they would look at her as though something was wrong with her but she knew what God had told her to sing.

The music executives stopped coming and she saw many of her friends who also had nice voices become superstars. The devil always told her "that could have been you, now you are 28 and you are still in the village". Two years later, a gentleman walked into her church and after the service he approached her and asked her if she would sign a $10 million music deal, they were an international gospel record label and he recognized that her voice was very unique.

In two years, Sophia had been all over the world and now she was performing at a concert with many A list artistes, God had brought her from the village to a world class status in just two years.

Ladies and gentlemen, whenever you don't compromise on God's standards and His principles, He will blow your mind. You may not understand where you are but God understands! The bible says in Proverbs 20:24 (NLT) The LORD directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?

You may not understand why you are where you are or why things are happening that way but God understands! Trust Him, He directs your every step, you can't go wrong following God! As long as you are doing what God asked you to do, it will end in praise!

Marriage Is A Promotion Not A Liability

Razaq held Aisha's waist and kissed her then they looked at the city from their penthouse suite "who would have thought that we could have a house with a view overlooking the city?" Razaq said and they laughed together.

There are 2 important decisions every man and woman should make. The most important is giving your life to Jesus while the second is the choice of the man or woman you marry.

When you marry the right man/woman, promotion and success is inevitable. That is why the bible says in Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.

The proof for a man to know that he has met the right woman is favor! Strange things will start happening in your finances and all around you, money will begin to flow. You may never have bought a car but when you meet the right woman, the money will just come! 

The proof that a woman has also met the right man is the total transformation she will experience, her beauty comes out, he takes care of her very well, the change that has occurred in her life is very obvious.

This doesn't mean that there won't be challenges, there will be many because the devil is single and he can't marry so he hates marriage but for you, the number of your challenges will be the number of your victories as long as you are faithful to God and the marriage covenant.

I hear many men say they are waiting for the big money to get married. My friend, the secret is to START! God will sort out the rest, marriage is a promotion not a liability, your best years are in your marriage that's if you choose the right one. May God help us all. Amen

Trust God To Blow Your Mind

I was talking to a friend who just made close to a million dollars in less than two weeks (yes in this same Nigeria and he is in his 30s) and he said to me "my brother there is more money in the spiritual than the physical".

He was a real life example of Proverbs 10:22 (NIV) The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
He didn't have to do anything illegal or even keep sleepless nights, it came EASY! He had been serving God faithfully for years and also spent time with God's word and his results are amazing!

Ladies and gentlemen, for the people of the world, this year will be hard but if you are son of the Most High God, you are under a different economy and there is no scarcity in heaven,stay connected!

 I want to leave you to meditate on Ephesians 3:20-21 (MSG) God can do #anything, you know—#far more than you could #ever imagine or #guess or request in your #wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working #within us, his #Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Lift Jesus Up!

    "Wow" the crowd purred as the magician brought out a bird from his cap. It was a market day and people came from all over the place to buy foodstuff, clothes and many more. Just at the corner stood a magician, he had no signpost, he just kept doing strange things; he would cause his phone to appear and disappear, he would suspend in midair and many more. In less than 10 minutes, people began to gather and soon there was a crowd, most people were attracted to the magic that was being displayed.

Men have always been attracted to the supernatural.  There is a part of man that longs to worship, there is a part of man that craves divinity. You will notice that churches where people feel God are always full, the same thing with demonic power, one would think that nobody in their right minds should ever join boko haram or ISIS but their numbers keep increasing everyday. Man is drawn to the spiritual.

Jesus said in John 12:32 (NLT)  when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.

Jesus was talking about his crucifixion here not the rapture, He was not saying He would take all men to heaven but He would draw all men to His church which is you and I. Christ is the head of the church, we are the body, you and Jesus Christ are one!

Therefore if you want your business to succeed this year, lift Jesus up in your business and He will draw men to you! Did you know that Noah did not have to look for animals to fill the ark? All of them came to him! The snake, the crocodile, the birds, the fishes, the lion, the elephant, the ostrich, the eagle, they all came to Noah!

 The secret to success in 2016 is to lift Jesus up! The economy will disappoint you but Jesus will never fail! 

How do you lift Jesus up? Acknowledge His presence; pray at work, put scriptures on your wall at the office, these are not the days to be ashamed of Christ!  Let people know you are a Jesus lover, preach the gospel and share messages of the gospel on social media. Lift Jesus up this year and you will not struggle, everything you desire will come to you!

Try Jesus

  "Its a boy! Congrats o, may God bless him". As people rejoiced with the Adekunle family over the birth of their baby, Mr Segun Adekunle's sister Asake checked the exact time the baby was born and then she offered to bath the baby. After she bathed the baby, she hid the sponge and went to see baba.

"Baba, a baby has just been born into our family and I want to know his star, this is the sponge they used to bath him" Baba took the sponge and said some incantations and then he said "hmmm, this boy has a great destiny, he will be a great leader in this country"

 Asake thanked Baba and she began to think that life was not fair at all, she was 40 and she had never been married, Segun was her youngest brother and now he had a son who would be great, she would make sure the boy never fulfilled destiny.

Asake got to her house, took the urine of a he-goat and poured it over the sponge and then she said "son of Segun Adekunle born on January 11 at 7am just as a goat is stubborn and does not listen to advice, may you be stubborn and wayward, may you not fulfill destiny" then she buried the sponge.

A week later, the boy was named Adefemi, it was not long before the parents realised how stubborn and troublesome Femi was, he was always expelled from school and this continued till he was in the university. 

Femi was tired of his life and wanted to commit suicide when he heard praise and worship in a church, he decided to just go and after that he would kill himself. It was as though the pastor was talking about him and when they made the altar call, he came out and gave his life to Christ.

Femi went back to school and graduated and then he became a governor, a minister and is presently a senator. He also has businesses employing over 100,000 Nigerians every year. 

Ladies and gentlemen what are the battles you are facing? The battles of your life is because the devil knows about the glorious future you carry, he will stop at nothing to stop you and the bad news is that most times he will succeed! The only way to make sure that the devil will fail is if you give your life to Jesus, He will restore all that you have lost and give you back the life that the enemy stole. 

You have tried so many things and they have failed why not try Jesus?! Jesus NEVER fails, give him a try today. Say after me "Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you, I accept you as my Lord and Savior, give me a brand new life and help me to serve you, thank you for answering my prayers. 

If you just said these prayers, congrats! You just became born again, please find a bible believing church near you and submit to your pastor, he will lead you right. God bless you.

Be The Answer To Someone's Prayers

  "Honey wake up o, a letter just came from the landlord, he says if we don't pay by Friday, he is coming to push us out, what do we do ehn?"

Felix didn't know what to tell his wife and he said to her "God will sort it out". 

Felix couldn't sleep any longer so he started praying, he prayed for an hour and he had peace that God would sort things out. 

Suddenly his phone rang, it was his friend with 3 children and a pregnant wife, they were presently facing eviction, those who were going to force them out of the house were already at the gate and the money he needed was 500,000 Naira, the exact money in Felix account. Felix wanted to start apologizing that he didn't have money, the Holy Spirit told him to send the money to his friend. He started sweating profusely but he knew the voice of the Holy Spirit and so he did.

The next day, Felix was on his way to work when he met another friend he had not seen in 5 years. After they hugged and exchanged greetings, the man told Felix he was into building homes at affordable rates and as a matter of fact, he would appreciate if Felix and his family could move into one the 5 bedroom duplex they just built, he was giving Felix and his family their own house only that he would use them as adverts. Felix was dumbfounded, today Felix is the owner of a 5 bedroom duplex he didn't pay a dime for.

Ladies and gentleman, this year don't use common sense, use Kingdom sense! If you do, your life will move at a speed you never thought possible. Many things we desire does not take time, IT TAKES GOD! 

Whenever you solve a problem for someone, God is committed  to solving a problem for you! The bible says in Ephesians 6:8 (ESV) knowing that WHATEVER good ANYONE does, this he will receive BACK from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.

Whatever you make happen for others, God will make happen for you! What is it you want God to do for you? Look for people going through similar challenges and be the answer to their prayers then watch what God will do!

3 Reasons You Should Not Marry That Man

Ruth lay on the hospital bed with a broken rib, a swollen mouth and a swollen eye. She was in pains; her body hurt and her heart hurt. If only she had listened to advice she would never have married Richard.

She remembered how she met him like yesterday; it was his Oud perfume and his eyes; when he spoke she felt weak at the knees. From that moment, Ruth wanted to be with Richard everyday, she was a Christian and she knew better but in less than 2 weeks, she was sleeping with him; she was hooked, he was like a drug she was addicted to, she felt like the bible was not entirely true because here was this man who didn't even care about God and he made her feel like she was in heaven everyday.

Richard proposed 6 months later and against her pastor and parents' advise, she married Richard. It didn't take long before she realized she had made the mistake of her life, she found out Richard was a chronic womanizer who had been married before and even had children out of wedlock, he was also fond of smoking marijuana whenever he was in the restroom and when she complained, she got a slap that made her see a picture of heaven. Richard would beat her and then rape her.

Ruth suffered all of it in silence because she didn't want people to laugh at her or pity her especially her family and friends so she kept avoiding them and stopped going to church. 

As Ruth lay on the hospital bed, she realized that if she continued like this, she would soon end up dead. She decided to call her pastor and the police and she reported the case. Richard has been arrested and is presently facing prosecution.

I am talking to women this morning and I want to give you 3 reasons why you shouldn't marry that man.

1. Don't marry him if he doesn't fear God; how do you know if a man fears God? It's not about going to church everytime, it's about doing what the bible says. Does he live his life according to the bible? Is he a tither? (Don't even think of dating a guy who doesn't tithe) Will he rather sleep on Sunday than go to church? Does he have a relationship with his pastor? Is he submitted to spiritual leadership in his church? Is he involved in legitimate business? Does he mock men of God? (Very important) who can you report him to when he misbehaves?

2. Don't marry him if he has ever hit you! Many women always hope that a physically abusive guy will change (story for the gods) it will only increase if you marry him. If he was slapping you before marriage, expect him to start punching you when you marry him. Marriage has a way of magnifying your weakness, it will only get worse. He may apologise and call it a mistake, run for your life and be thankful to God that you saw that part of him before you married him.

3. Don't marry him if he asks for sex before marriage: I am talking to Christian women and we need not debate the issue; PREMARITAL SEX IS A SIN! If he says he is a man of God and he wants to get in your panties, don't marry him! You will deal with infidelity in the future, if he cannot control himself with you, he will cheat on you in the future and nothing destroys a man and a family faster than sexual immorality. The bible says  in Proverbs 6:26 For by means of a harlot a man is REDUCED to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will prey upon his precious life.

There are many other factors but with these three you can know if the man you are dating right now is the person you should spend the rest of your life with. May you not miss it in marriage!

Go For The Blessing

  " Sir, your brother Esau is coming to you with 400 men" 

When Jacob heard, he became very afraid, his life flashed before him, he had stolen his brother's birthright and his blessing, he had become a very wealthy man because of the words Isaac his  father spoke over his life; 

His father said to him: Ah! The smell of my son is like the smell of the outdoors, which the LORD has blessed!

From the dew of heaven

and the richness of the earth,

may God always give you abundant harvests of grain

and bountiful new wine.

29May many nations become your servants,

and may they bow down to you.

May you be the master over your brothers,

and may your mother’s sons bow down to you.

All who curse you will be cursed,

and all who bless you will be blessed.” (Genesis 22:28-29)

Jacob knew that it was the blessing that made him the wealthy man that he had become and now his brother Esau was coming to kill him. 

He decided to send Esau a lot of gifts to appease him and he also separated himself from his family just in case Esau planned to kill everybody.

Jacob was all by himself when a Man came to wrestle with him. He knew for sure that this was no ordinary man and he wouldn't let the Man go until he blessed him. Jacob could have asked the Man to protect him from Esau but he understood that the blessing was all encompassing, a blessed man always triumphed over his enemies. 

The Man said to Jacob "Your name will no longer be Jacob,” the Man told him. “From now on you will be called Israel,^cbecause you have fought with God and with men and have won.” (Genesis 32:28)

Beloved in 2016, don't go after physical things like money; go after the things that can produce the blessing! Look for ways to touch people that will make them bless you from the depth of their hearts. Do you know a widow who cannot afford school fees for her children? Pay the fees! When she says "Thank you my God will bless you" those are heartfelt prayers! 

Do you know someone in the hospital who cannot afford the medical bills? Pay it! The prayers that will be released over you are blessings.

Do you know someone who cannot afford their house rent? Pay it! Those are blessing activators.

Seek to touch people this year that will make them bless you from the bottom of their heart, God honors heartfelt prayers and whatever you make happen for others is what God will make happen for you.

Speak Words Over Your Life

 "My hands produce gold, I walk in dominion, I know times and seasons". It was 4am in the morning and Fola was declaring these prophecies over his life. His pastor had spoken the words over him two years ago and not a single day would pass without Fola saying the same words over his life.

The results had been amazing; Fola was just 32 years old but his results were mind blowing, he was on the Forbes list of one of the richest men under 35,  he was on first name basis with at least 20 presidents of the world and his businesses were all over the world. He was a truly blessed man but the world did not know that his life only moved in the direction of the prophecies he believed.

Beloved, the bible says in 1 Timothy 1:18 (NIV)
Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well.

Little keys open bank vaults, life answers to keys and keys never expire! Words have been spoken over you in your church this year and through men of God. If you are smart, you will write those words down and speak them over your life everyday! God NEVER does anything without first of all speaking it, your agreement to what God has spoken is what guarantees your miracle!

Mary who was a virgin was told by Angel Gabriel that she would be pregnant, she did not argue but she said" be it unto me according to your word" every time you say the words spoken over you, you are saying "be it unto me according to your words". Mary did not get pregnant immediately but in 9 months, she had a baby.  You may not see anything as you speak but I tell you, your results are guaranteed.

Even if nobody spoke over you, the bible is a book of prophecies, you can open any part of the bible and declare it over yourself everyday!

Declare over yourself today that money comes from everywhere, declare that winning is sure today, declare  that God has clothed you with Favour as a shield! Declare that men will serve you, declare that your steps are ordered, declare it is well with you!

Don't Settle For Less Than God's Best

  I have decided that I or my wife will never drive a Tokunbo or used car in our lives again not because of the money in my account but because I understand from the scriptures that God says in Philippians 4:19 (ESV) And my God will supply EVERY need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 

If Dangote or Bill Gates are the ones meeting your needs, the quality of your life will be different from what it is right now. God is saying He is the one that will meet your needs and He will meet it according to His riches in Christ Jesus! We are talking of an economy that is so rich that even the streets of heaven are tarred with gold! 

You see God's word is like a cheque, it can be cashed! I did not get here in one day but I know for sure that whenever I make up my mind to stay with God's word, it ALWAYS produces! I have learnt to live my life solely on the word. The bible says in Matthew 4:4 (ESV) But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY word that comes from the mouth of God.’” The bible says that the way I should live is by every word that I see in the bible! 

Hebrews 10:38 (NLT) says: And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.

Beloved, God has told us how to live; it is by the word of God and faith! What is faith? The bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1(NLT) Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually HAPPEN; it gives us ASSURANCE about things we cannot see.

I may not see the 2 brand new Mercedes yet but I tell you they are coming that's why I can write about them confidently! How do I ensure they come? I keep saying it and declaring words of faith! I go to my car park every morning and decree that it is filled with brand new cars! It may sound weird to you but it works! I have tasted of these things thats why I can write with so much assurance and confidence!  

The bible says in Hebrews 10:23 (NASB) Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;

The bible says we should keep saying and declaring the words of the bible because God who promised us these good things is faithful! The best example of faithfulness is morning and night! Morning has never failed to turn to night and night has never failed to turn to morning! God is faithful.

I don't know what it is you want, don't look at how much it will cost, look at what the Word says! God created the entire earth by speaking words and out of all the creatures on the earth only you and God speak! 

God created you with a mouth so you can also create with your mouth, you can create the life you desire through your words! Proverbs 18:20 (NASB) 

With the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Whatever I say is creating the life I want! 

In 2016, don't settle for less than God's best, the grace that can produce a Tokunbo car is the one that will produce a brand new car! You cannot give President Buhari's daughter a Tokunbo car as a gift, you are the sons and daughters of the Most High God. See yourself how God sees you, don't settle for less!
