Testimony Thursday

I remember October 31st 2014. My 7 months pregnant wife landed Abuja in a public transport with numerous Ghana must go bags; it contained one TV, 2 DVD players and LG speakers, a washing machine, books, clothes and shoes, that was all we had. I had come to Abuja earlier because the transfer they gave me was with immediate effect. I remember buying a mattress and 2 pillows a day before and I put it on the floor because there was no bed. We didn't even have a wardrobe so we lived out of our bags. It wasn't even our house we were squatting! I have shared the story of how God gave us an apartment. This time last year the rent of the apartment expired and I had to pay. I had paid a million Naira just 6 months earlier to the lady who gave us the apartment and now I had to pay 2 million Naira when the rent expired. First of all the estate agents didn't believe we could afford it, as far as they were concerned we were temporary occupants, we didn't look like it, we were the only couple who didn't have a car and we were former squatters. The agents would call and send letters, I didn't have the money yet but I had the Word of God! Haaa if you don't know how to hold on to the Word of God you are minced meat! I would NEVER tell the agents I didn't have the money, I would tell them "soon" and I was not begging and pleading, I was confident! The reason why many people don't see results is that they pray for one thing and they say another thing with their mouth! Make sure you are SAYING what you are PRAYING! Soon enough God showed up and I paid! In that same block of flats where we squatted God just gave us another apartment so now we have 2 apartments! Can you imagine? We came to that house with Ghana must go bags and now we own 2 apartments! All this while I had been working from a space in my apartment because Sapphire Scents is basically more of social media but we are growing so fast and I needed a bigger space. So one of the apartments became vacant and God helped me to pay for it! You see when we were squatting people would tell me to go and look for one room apartment but the Bible said in Phillipians 4:19 that God has supplied all my needs according to His riches in glory, not my salary, not my effort but His riches! So I refused to settle for less and in that same place, God gave us 2 apartments! Beloved hold on to God's word! There is abundance after the storm! What you lack most is what you will have most! Hold on to the Word it works!
