Ignore The Haters

From time to time I love watching Michael Jackson's Billie Jean Motown Records Live Performance. When they asked Michael about the perfromance, he said he cried after the performance because he thought it was a flop but as he was heading back home, he saw a 12 year old boy who told him "Oh my God, you were phenomenal" and he began to feel better about his performance. The rest is history, that performance is over 20 years old and millions of peoole including myself still get goose bumps every time I watch it. Somethings that come naturally to you are exceptional gifts, you may not know how gifted you are until you see how people react to you. Believe in your God given gifts and make sure you fine tune them till they are marketable. Another thing that shocked me was that many people liked the show but some people complained about it. The truth about life is you can't win them all, you will always have haters but those who love you will always be more than those who hate you. For every hater, there are a thousand who love you, ignore the haters, they dont count. The bible says in 2 Kings 6:16 (NIV) "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them The mistake Michael Jackson made was focusing more on his haters than on the people who loved him and there were millions of them. What you should feel for haters is pity, don't resent them just understand that something happened to them that made them blind and incapable of appreciating greatness, make sure you also pray for them.
